摘要: A method and apparatus for employing user input to classify unknown files whereby when a given unknown/unclassified file is downloaded and/or activated on a given computer system associated with a given user, the given user is asked to provide input regarding the legitimacy of the given unknown/unclassified file. The classification of the given unknown/unclassified file is then determined via one or more sources other than the given user's input. The accuracy of the given user's input regarding the legitimacy of the given unknown/unclassified file is then determined and used to calculate, and/or transform, a reliability score that is then associated with the given user. A given user's reliability score is then used to determine the given user's eligibility to provide further input regarding the legitimacy of other unknown/unclassified files, and/or to determine a value to be place on, or otherwise filter, future input from the given user regarding the legitimacy of other unknown/unclassified files.

摘要: An article of manufacture, such as a credit card sized health card having a magnetic strip, includes user selected medical information and/or information to obtain medical information of an individual and eligibility of healthcare payments in an embodiment. A user may customize the medical information displayed on the health card. In an embodiment, a method obtains and stores medical information in a machine-readable format. An interface to select a portion of the medical information is provided to a user. In response to a user selection, the portion is displayed on a substrate, such as the health card, and the medical information is accessed by information, such as a URL, user identifier and password, recorded in a machine-readable format on the substrate. In an embodiment, a system includes a healthcare provider processing device obtaining eligibility information from the health card and generating an eligibility request to an entity processing device that forwards the eligibility request to a payer processing device. An eligibility response from the payer processing device is then provided to the healthcare provider processing device via the entity processing device. In an embodiment, medical information in a paper format is faxed using a unique user identifier and password and categorized into a machine-readable format.

摘要: A mobile authorization service may be implemented as a web-based service, hosted on an authorization service server, and may exchange messages with various computing devices of subscribers to the service, including mobile communication devices. The service may be implemented as a software application executing on the server, and may include a client portion executing on subscriber computer systems and/or mobile communication devices, or subscribers may interact with the service using a text messaging application or a web browsing application. The service may receive an authorization request from a subscriber and may send a request message to an approver. The approver may send a reply message to the service indicating an answer. After authenticating the reply, the service may provide a response to the requester. The service may store information regarding authorization requests and responses. An authorization service subscriber account may be configurable for an individual or corporate subscriber.

摘要: The file context of a target file to be scanned is determined and the scan level for the file context is determined. Generally, the security risk for each file context is assessed, and the scan level appropriate for the security risk is associated with the file context. The target file is scanned at the scan level. Accordingly, a target file having a file context indicating that the file is a high security risk is scanned at a high scan level, i.e., is subject to a maximum-security scan. In this manner, high-level security is maintained. Conversely, a target file having a file context indicating that the file is a low security risk is scanned at a low scan level, i.e., is subject to a minimum-security scan or no scan at all. In this manner, high security is maintained while at the same time maximum performance is achieved.

摘要: Various embodiments of a system and method for generating a display configured to graphically indicate a state of a series of events are described. The system and method may include a display generator configured to generate display data that defines a display configured to indicate the state of a series of events. The display generator may create display data that defines a display configured to graphically indicate such events in a chronological manner such that the user may easily view the current state of the particular process. The display data may define a display that graphically indicates multiple events from multiple entities, such as events associated with a same episode. The displays defined by the display data may include one or more visual elements that graphically indicate an event that includes the transfer of an asset between a source entity and a destination entity.

摘要: A computer processor and a method of using the computer processor take advantage of information in the event address register of the computer processor by saving information from the event address register to an event address register history buffer. Thus, the event address register history buffer includes a cluster of events associated with execution of a computer program. The cluster of events is analyzed and the computer program modified, either statically or dynamically, to eliminate or at least ameliorate the effects of such events in further execution of the computer program.
