摘要： Novel fat mimetic compositions are disclosed to be useful in reduced calorie foods. These compounds, which can be referred to as linked esters, consist of linked multi-ester or mult-ester/ether fragments joined by a polycarboxylate. These complex linked esters may be partially broken down in the body to produce digestion residues which are substantially nondigestible themselves and are sufficiently hydrophilic to enable the digestion residues to be incorporated in the normal stool. These fat mimetic compounds are useful as replacements for fats and oils for most food applications.

摘要： A fat-containing composition obtained by converting insects or worms into nutrient streams, such as a fat-containing, an aqueous protein-containing and a solid-containing fraction, including (a) squashing insects or worms thereby obtaining a pulp, the insects or worms reduced in size, (b) heating the pulp to 70-100° C., and (c) subjecting the heated pulp to a physical separation step with the proviso that the method does not contain enzymatic treatment of the pulp. The fat-containing fraction contains at least 80 wt. % insect or worm fat with at least 40 wt. % saturated fats. The aqueous protein fraction can be dried to obtain dried protein material, which contains at least 50 wt. % insect or worm protein-derived matter and at most 25 wt. % insect or worm fat based on dry weight. The protein has a pepsin digestibility of at least 50%. The resulting nutrient streams can be used in food, petfood, feed and pharmaceutical industry.

The device may include a body housing a chamber, an inlet configured to fluidly couple with a source of nutritional formula, and an outlet configured to fluidly couple with an enteral feeding tube. The device may include a headspace and a plurality of particles contained within the chamber, wherein the lipase is covalently bonded to the plurality of particles. The device may include an inlet filter located between the inlet and the chamber, wherein the inlet filter contains a first plurality of openings, and an outlet filter located between the chamber and the outlet, wherein the outlet filter has a second plurality of openings smaller than the plurality of particles.

摘要： A method for preparing drinking water for livestock includes mixing 2.5 to 5.0 WT % of tourmaline and 2.5 to 5.0 WT % of illite as natural minerals in powder form of 2 to 3 μm with 90 to 95 WT % of water to produce a mixed solution, and maintaining the mixed solution for 5 to 7 hours at room temperature, and removing the tourmaline powders and illite powders to produce leachate; mixing 15 to 25 WT % of detoxified sulfur in powder form of 2 to 3 μm, 10 to 25 WT % of Rrhus verniciflua Stokes extract, and 10 to 25 WT % of Momordicae Semen extract with 25 to 65 WT % of the leachate to produce a liquid mixture, and maintaining the liquid mixture for 12 hours; and mixing 150 to 250 ml of the liquid mixture with 20 l of water and maintaining the liquid mixture for 6 to 7 hours for amplification.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a nutritional formula comprising alpha-lactalbumin enriched whey protein concentrate; beta-casein enriched milk protein; mildly hydrolyzed milk protein; osteopontin; lactoferrin; oleic acid-palmitic acid-oleic acid triglyceride, wherein palmitic acid is at the SN-2 position of the glycerol backbone of the triglyceride; lactose, wherein the lactose is reduced lactose; lutein; docosahexanoic acid; arachidonic acid; galactooligosaccharides; and polydextrose. The provided nutritional formulas may be useful in providing nutrition and/ or promoting postnatal development of a subject (e.g., promoting postnatal development of an infant’s gastrointestinal functions, nutrient absorption, immune system development, etc.). 摘要： Compositions and methods for producing food and drink products containing milled anthocyanin-rich legumes from the Fabaceae family are disclosed that may lower the glycemic index, increase the duration of nutritionally-derived energy availability over simple carbohydrates, increase nutritional fiber content, reduce hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia, hyperleptinemia, total lipids, and cellular anabolism and energy consumption, and increase cellular catabolism and energy production. Using the methods of the present invention, legumes are milled into microparticulate form to increase nutrient availability and to reduce flatulence and other side-effects associated with prior art anthocyanin extraction techniques. Using a method of the present invention, lectins are significantly deactivated, thereby eliminating or substantially reducing hemagglutination.
