    摘要: An antenna is compactified whilst being able to operate across at least two different broad frequency bands. An antenna circuit board 7 on which an antenna pattern 7a and a passive element pattern 7b are formed is accommodated inside an antenna case. An antenna element is connected electrically to the upper end of the antenna pattern 7a. An antenna operating in the GSM and DCS frequency bands is constituted by a telephone element provided on the lower portion of the antenna element and the antenna pattern 7a and passive element pattern 7b formed on the antenna circuit board 7. Thereby, a compactified antenna is enabled to operate across two different broad frequency bands.

    摘要: A static memory in which memory cells each have the components thereof laid out so that the area of each memory cell can be further reduced in compliance with improvement in technology of separating devices. The static memory includes CMOS memory cells each having two cross-coupled inverters, in each of which an n-channel transistor and p-channel transistor are connected in series with each other. At least one of the contacts used to cross-couple the two inverters is located in a region other than a region enclosed by the diffused sources and drains of the n-channel transistors and p-channel transistors included in the memory cell.

    摘要: In a mobile radio transceiver, an antenna has a fixed element and a movable element. When the movable element is in an extended state, the movable element functions. On the other hand, when the movable element is in a retracted state, the fixed element functions. An impedance matching circuit preferentially performs impedance matching relative to the fixed element. A reactance element is further provided which is connected to the movable element when the movable element is in the extended state. On the other hand, the reactance element is out of connection to the movable element when the movable element is in the retracted state. With this arrangement, the impedance matching circuit and the reactance element cooperatively achieve impedance matching relative to the movable element when the movable element functions. Alternatively, if the impedance matching circuit preferentially performs impedance matching relative to the movable element, the reactance element is connected to the fixed element when the fixed element functions.

    摘要: In a piezoelectric gyroscope system wherein a vibrating body is vibrated in a specific direction by a piezoelectric actuator and is subjected to another vibration in a direction perpendicular to the specific direction due to the Coriolis' force upon being subjected to a rotation of a rotational speed, the perpendicular vibration being detected as an electric signal representative of the rotational speed by a piezoelectric transducer, the vibrating body is made of a circular rod of a piezoelectric material having a plurality of elongated electrodes on the outer surface of the rod, in order to resolve difficulty for mounting piezoelectric transducers onto the vibrating body. A driving signal is applied to predetermined ones of the electrodes to vibrate the rod in a particular diametric direction and an output signal is detected from specific ones of the electrodes according to the vibration due to the Coriolis' force. When an even number of electrodes are provided, those electrodes are formed at equiangularly spaced positions on the outer surface of the rod. When an odd number of electrodes are provided, those electrodes are formed at equiangularly spaced positions within an angular region of (360 angular degrees.times.2/3) on the outer surface of the rod.

    摘要: In a local module (11(1)) of an asynchronous time division exchange or switching system, each of connection ports (17) transfers a transmission signal to a module bus (19) as a cell with its header made to indicate a destination module number and a destination port number as a VCI (Virtual channel identifier) when the signal is directed to a destination module (11(N)) and one of the connection ports, respectively. Preferably, a connection control unit (15) of the local module transfers and does not transfer the cell to a highway bus (13) when the signal is directed to the destination module and the last-mentioned one of the connection ports. More preferably, the header additionally indicates a binary one and zero bit when the signal is directed to the destination module and the last-mentioned one of the connection ports.
