Abstract: Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus including a pair of first tracks that are arranged in parallel at an interval, a second track that is perpendicular to the pair of first tracks and is movably connected to the pair of first tracks, a hand holder that is movably provided in the second track and on which a hand of the user is held, a holder driving unit that reciprocally moves the hand holder along the second track, and a track driving unit that reciprocally moves the second track along the pair of first tracks.

Abstract: Exosuit systems and methods according to various embodiments are described herein. The exosuit system can be a suit that is worn by a wearer on the outside of his or her body. It may be worn under the wearer's normal clothing, over their clothing, between layers of clothing, or may be the wearer's primary clothing itself. The exosuit may be assistive, as it physically assists the wearer in performing particular activities, or can provide other functionality such as communication to the wearer through physical expressions to the body, engagement of the environment, or capturing of information from the wearer.

Abstract: A stretching machine includes a table having a surface for supporting a patient and a first leg rest for supporting and moving a first leg of the patient. The first leg rest has a first vertical frame operable to rotate around a first horizontal pivot point at an end of the table and a first horizontal frame operable to rotate around a first vertical pivot point on the first vertical frame. A first vertical actuator is for rotating the first vertical frame around the first horizontal pivot point to move the first leg rest in a vertical direction relative to the surface of the table, and a first horizontal actuator is for rotating the first horizontal frame around the first vertical pivot point to move the first leg rest in a horizontal direction relative to the first vertical frame.

Abstract: A hip traction device, system, and associated methods are disclosed. Such a device may include a base having a proximal end and a distal end, a guide coupled to the base, a carrier configured to move along the guide upon receiving a force from a tensioner to move the carrier toward the distal end of the base, causing a leg to be put in tension, and a single body coupling mechanism either removably attachable or permanently attached to the carrier and configured to securely attach to a lower portion of a leg, such that the portion of the leg moves with the carrier during operation of the tensioner.

Abstract: A powered device augments a joint function of a human during a gait cycle using a powered actuator that supplies an augmentation torque, an impedance, or both to a joint, and a controller that modulates the augmentation torque, the impedance, and a joint equilibrium according to a phase of the gait cycle to provide at least a biomimetic response. Accordingly, the device is capable of normalizing or augmenting human biomechanical function, responsive to a wearer's activity, regardless of speed and terrain.

Abstract: An aid device for the movement and rehabilitation hand fingers includes a exoskeleton, an articulated glove or a wearable mechanism configured to be positioned on the back of at least one finger and to be mechanically constrained to the finger, and a motorized system exerting a movement or a change in the configuration of the exoskeleton. The exoskeleton includes a rigid elements arranged on a row one behind the other along a longitudinal axis parallel to the longitudinal extension of the finger and articulated with each other to make a modular underactuated structure and obtain maximum shape and kinematic adaptability to the fingers, particularly to follow the extension and flexing movement of the fingers. The motorized system includes pulling and/or pushing elements that act on one or more of the elements of the exoskeleton to produce finger movements and particularly the extension and flexing movements of the fingers.

Abstract: A system for treating soft tissue of a patient. The system includes a treatment head and a computer portion. The treatment head includes a probe and an electrode operably coupled to the probe. The probe and electrode are configured to respectively deliver a mechanical force impulse and an electrical stimulation to the soft tissue when placed in operable contact with the soft tissue. The computer portion includes a CPU and is configured to coordinate the delivery of the mechanical force impulse and electrical stimulation relative to each other. The system is configured to sense a shockwave in the soft tissue of the patient, the shockwave resulting from the mechanical force impulse delivered to the soft tissue via the probe. The system is also configured to analyze a characteristic of the sensed shockwave and configure the electrical stimulation to be delivered to the soft tissue via the electrode based on the characteristic analysis of the sensed shockwave. The characteristic may be at least one of frequency of the sensed shockwave, amplitude of the sensed shockwave, and/or wave shape (form) of the sensed shockwave.

Abstract: An improved massager that includes a chassis with a housing space, whereas the housing space is connected to the outside through two openings. Two impact power units is configured inside the housing space, each provide a partial portion to pass through the two openings to extend outside of the chassis, and each connects to a massage head. The improved massager also includes a control unit includes a main circuit board, an operational switch with at least one level of operational state, and a control circuit board to link to the impact power units. In the control circuit board, there are multiple adjustment units. Each adjustment unit is linked with the adjustment knob outside of the chassis. The side of the chassis extends a grip portion configured with a control operational switch that has at least one state of operation. By adjusting each adjustment knobs, the adjustment units can provide different level of control adjustment so that the circuit board can control the two impact power units to provide different impacts from linear regular motion features with different forces and frequencies.
