摘要: In an embodiment, a method for authenticating a user of a car includes: transmitting a plurality of radiation pulses through a predetermined portion of a surface of the car towards a portion of a hand of the user using a millimeter-wave radar; receiving a reflected signal from the portion of the hand using the millimeter-wave radar; generating a fingerprint signature based on the reflected signal; comparing the fingerprint signature to a database of authorized fingerprint signatures; and authorizing the user based on whether the fingerprint signature matches an authorized fingerprint signature of the database of authorized fingerprint signatures.

The conveyance system autonomously drives the autonomous robotic vehicle between one or more storage locations and one or more delivery locations. The compartment receives one or more items stored at the one more storage locations. The compartment includes a temperature control module configured to maintain the compartment within a predetermined temperature range to provide temperature control for the one or more items as the conveyance system drives between the one or more storage locations and the one or more delivery locations.

摘要: A detachable steering wheel includes a steering wheel body, an electric sleeve, a fixing mechanism, a controlling module and an identifying module. The steering wheel body includes a direction grip and a connection shaft. The connection shaft is inserted into a steering column. Moreover, plural indentations are formed in the connection shaft. The electric sleeve is movably sheathed around the steering column. The fixing mechanism includes plural rolling balls and plural openings. The plural openings are penetrated through the corresponding openings and connected with the corresponding indentations. The controlling module is installed in the steering column and electrically connected with the electric sleeve. The identifying module is installed in the direction grip and electrically connected with the controlling module. Due to these structures, the intelligent anti-theft purpose is achieved.

摘要: A method and system for automatically creating a unique driver profile for a vehicle from driving habits. A unique driver profile is created with a portable on-board diagnostic series 2 (OBD-2) apparatus and/or linked and/or standalone network device (e.g., smart phone, tablet, wearable device, etc.). The unique driver profile is created from the accepted plural signals including time and geo-location data based on driving habits of the driver. The unique driver profile information is recorded on the apparatus and/or network device, downloaded at a later time or sent in real-time to check and verify an identity of the driver. The unique driver profile helps confirm an identity of the driver of the vehicle based on unique driving habits of the driver.

摘要: A method of operating a self-driving (autonomous) motor vehicle to transport a passenger who requires supervision. An authorization of a sender to operate the vehicle is checked and, if authorized, the sender provides instructions to a vehicle control unit to designate a destination and one or more authorization criterion that must be met by a recipient in order to unlock the vehicle and take custody of the passenger at the destination. The vehicle travels to the destination autonomously, during which travel the status of the passenger is monitored and transmitted wirelessly to a device in the possession of the sender. At the destination, unlocking of the vehicle is permitted upon confirmation of the authorization criterion by the recipient.

The user identification method using recognition of a grip pattern of a lever-type door includes activating a sensing module disposed within a lever of a vehicle door when a smart-key is sensed. A grip pattern is then sensed using the sensing module and a user profile that corresponds to the grip pattern is identified. A user-customization module is activated in response to the identified user profile.

摘要: A method of managing an electronic control unit of an automobile through an integrated fingerprint recognition system is implemented between a vehicle and at least one driver. The driver is considered as a user profile within the system and can include a primary designation or a secondary designation. The primary designation is allowed to fully control a plurality of vehicular controllers through the system while the secondary designation is allowed to partially control the vehicular controllers. The vehicular controllers include an entry system, an ignition system, a speed control system, a GPS, and a security system as each of the vehicular controllers is activated or implemented by a fingerprint image of the driver that is stored within an onboard computer of the vehicle. The onboard computer also communicably connected with a mobile device of the driver to complete the system between the driver and the vehicle.

摘要: A telematics system that includes a security controller is provided. The security controller is responsible for ensuring secure access to and controlled use of resources in the vehicle. The security measures relied on by the security controller can be based on digital certificates that grant rights to certificate holders, e.g., application developers. In the case in which applications are to be used with vehicle resources, procedures are implemented to make sure that certified applications do not jeopardize vehicle resources' security and vehicle users' safety. Relationships among interested entities are established to promote and support secure vehicle resource access and usage. The entities can include vehicle makers, communication service providers, communication apparatus vendors, vehicle subsystem suppliers, application developers, as well as vehicle owners/users. At least some of the entities can be members of a federation established to enhance and facilitate secure access and usage of vehicle resources.
