摘要: The present invention is provided with a text string/material correspondence table in which material data for creating computer graphics is associated with a set of the material names of material data, and a hierarchical structural description which describes a feature of material data in a hierarchical structure. Material data corresponding to the feature is searched using the hierarchical structural description when a feature is input, searched material data is stored, and searched material data and the material name of material data are registered with the text string/material correspondence table. Material data corresponding to the material name is acquired using the text string/material correspondence table when a material name is input, and computer graphics are created using acquired material data.

摘要: An image data processing apparatus for storing a multi-valued image data inputted from an image scanner as a plural image data of various resolutions and applying them for tasks, such as printing and displaying. After the conversion by the resolution converting device to a multi-valued image of low resolution, the data is binarized by the binarization circuit and stored after the encoding by the encoding circuit. Meanwhile the encoded data is decoded as the binary data by the decoding circuit and then inputted to a display screen. The image scanner includes the first gradation converting device for converting the intermediate density area of the image data to a specific high or low density. Therefore, it is possible to increase the compression rate at the time of the encoding of the display image data.

摘要: An ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer can be easily grafted in a high graft efficiency with a peroxy group-containing block copolymer consisting of segments of copolymer A, which is a copolymer of a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer or its mixture with a radically copolymerizable monomer, with a radically copolymerizable peroxycarbonate, and segments of (co)polymer B, which is different from copolymer A in the monomer composition and does not contain a monomer unit of the radically copolymerizable peroxycarbonate. The grafted ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer can be effectively used as a compatibilizing agent in a polymer blend of polyolefin with styrene (co)polymer, as an emulsifying agent in an emulsion of high polymer, or as an adhesive at the interface of polyolefin and styrene (co)polymer.

摘要: A technique for an infrared radiation thermometer used for thermography detects measurement abnormality of the infrared radiation thermometer and estimates the causes of the measurement abnormality such as contamination of an objective lens and a malfunction in a mechanism section of the infrared radiation thermometer. The measurement abnormality detector has a dummy lens 21 placed in the periphery of the objective lens 11 of the thermometer 10 so as to be at a position and in an attitude that are more susceptible to contamination than the objective lens 11, a laser displacement meter 22 for projecting light to the dummy lens 21 at each predetermined time or at a predetermined timing, receiving the light reflected by the dummy lens 21, and measuring the quantity of the received light, and determination means 50 for calculating the attenuation rate of the projected light on the basis of the quantity of the received light measured by the laser displacement meter 22, estimating the degree of contamination of the dummy lens 21 on the basis of the calculated attenuation rate, and judging, on the basis of the degree of contamination of the dummy lens 21, the necessity of warning for contamination of the objective lens 11 and measurement abnormality of the thermometer 10.
