摘要: A digital autonomous hardware based FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) device and method for preventing the initial onset of trailer oscillations and swaying (“Snaking”) movements and subsequent control thereof. The device being a detection and control method for any wheeled trailer which is detachable from the towing vehicle. The system uses a Kalman Filter to processes digital data from a number of wireless IMUs (Inertial Measurement Units) located on the trailer and towing vehicle and then subsequently digitally controls the application and monitoring of simultaneous braking to the trailer whilst accelerating the towing vehicle in a safe manner in an attempt to quickly alleviate and stop all oscillations and swaying (“Snaking”) movements. The system includes a number of other ancillary safety related features.

摘要: A vehicle trailer for attaching to a vehicle and analyzing operating characteristics of the vehicle is provided. The trailer includes a frame having a tongue configured to attach to a vehicle. The trailer has its own designated powertrain configured to propel and brake the trailer independent from the vehicle. A connecting member is configured to attach to an exhaust pipe of the vehicle and includes an emissions sensor configured to detect emissions from the exhaust pipe. At least one controller is coupled to the emissions sensor and is configured to analyze the emissions. The trailer can also be attached to the vehicle via an attachment member and configured to propel the vehicle across a range of increasing speeds while a powertrain of the vehicle is in neutral, and measure forces required to propel the vehicle across the range of speeds utilizing a force gauge on the attachment member.

摘要: A control system of a four-wheel drive vehicle and a gradient value setting device of the vehicle is provided so as to reliably control a wheel skid despite the vehicle facing an intersecting direction intersecting a maximum tilt line direction. The vehicle includes an engine, front and rear wheels, an electronic control 4WD coupling, and a control unit. The distribution amount of the driving force to the rear wheels is set by the electronic control 4WD coupling. The control unit determines whether or not the vehicle faces the intersecting direction on the inclined road, and if so, sets the driving force distribution amount so that the difference between the driving force distribution amount to the front wheels and to the rear wheels is smaller as compared with on a flat road, and commands the electronic control 4WD coupling to distribute the driving force by the distribution amount.

摘要: A method is provided for use in a vehicle. The vehicle includes a transmission, a turbocharger, a transmission control module (TCM), an engine, and an engine control module (ECM). The engine includes a crankshaft that rotates at an engine speed and the turbocharger includes a turbine that rotates at a turbine speed. The method includes requesting a downshift of the transmission from an off-going gear ratio to an on-coming gear ratio. The turbine is rotating at an off-going turbine speed at the off-going gear ratio and the turbine is configured to rotate at an on-coming turbine speed at the on-coming gear ratio, greater than the off-going gear speed. A determination is made that the requested downshift is a powerdown low-throttle shift. An engine speed request value is then transmitted from the TCM to the ECM. The transmitted engine speed request value is at least equal to the on-coming gear speed.

摘要: A method for controlling a line pressure of a hybrid vehicle includes applying, by a controller, a set current corresponding to a target pressure to a first solenoid valve controlling the line pressure, driving, by the controller, a second solenoid valve to open an engine clutch after the applying step, comparing, by the controller, a difference value between a real pressure of the engine clutch sensed by a pressure sensor and the target pressure with a preset pressure after the driving step, and as a result of performing the comparing step, if the difference value is equal to or greater than the preset pressure, controlling, by the controller, an increase of a revolution per minute (RPM) speed of the electric oil pump and an increase of a pressure of the first solenoid valve to be alternately generated.
