摘要: A method of producing a cell structure includes applying a magnetic field, in a container (40), to a plurality of culture carriers to arrange the culture carriers. The culture carriers include at least one of a carrier (10) and a cell holding carrier (30), the carrier (10) having a magnetic portion (12), formed only in a part of the carrier (10), and a cell holder (11). The method also includes culturing cells (20) held on the cell holder (11) while maintaining the culture carriers in the arranged state.

The methods comprise culturing the stem cells in a medium comprising thrombospondin 1 (TSP1) and left-right determination factor 2 (LEFTY2). The present disclosure also provides a composition comprising a derivative of the stem cells produced by the methods of the present disclosure and a pharmaceutically or cosmetically acceptable carrier.

摘要: Materials and methods to control a nutrient feed in a cell culture process is provided. A sample is received from a bioreactor comprising a cell culture. A viable cell density and a residual nutrient measurement are determined from the received sample. A daily nutrient feeding target is calculated based on the viable cell density and the residual nutrient measurement. The nutrient is fed to the bioreactor according to the calculated daily nutrient feeding target.

摘要: Described herein are reprogrammed cells, and methods for cell dedifferentiation, transformation and eukaryotic cell reprogramming. Also described are cells, cell lines, and tissues that can be transplanted in a patient after steps of in vitro dedifferentiation and in vitro reprogramming. In particular embodiments the cells are Stem-Like Cells (SLCs), including Neural Stem-Like Cells (NSLCs), Cardiac Stem-Like Cells (CSLC), Hematopoietic Stem-Like Cells (HSLC), Pancreatic Progenitor-Like Cells, and Mesendoderm-like Cells. Also described are methods for generating these cells from human somatic cells and other types of cells. Also provided are compositions and methods of using of the cells so generated in human therapy and in other areas.

摘要: A laser processing machine for killing specific cells from a group of cells on a surface of a layer containing an ingredient capable of absorbing laser light, the laser processing machine being configured to: control a laser light source to output laser light at 5W or less and at a wavelength of 380 nm or greater such that the laser light source is applied to a second area on a second surface of the layer opposed to the first surface; and control an actuator to provide a relative movement between the second area where the laser light is applied and the layer at a rate of 2000 mm/sec or less such that the irradiated second area absorbs energy to generate heat that kills unwanted cells on a first area of the first surface and the laser light does not instantly kill the specific cells on the first area upon irradiation.

摘要: The invention provides an in vitro method of improving the efficiency of establishment of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.
