摘要: An expansion module usable as an internal and external device is described. The module defines an interior volume, a recess for receiving a retaining latch external to the module for retaining the module positioned with respect to an expansion module sleeve, and at least two throughholes to the module interior and an alignment receptacle at one end of the module. The module includes a latch release attached to the module for expelling a retained latch from the recess, and an interface device positioned in the module interior volume, and receiving a) a standard data connector via one of the at least two throughholes and b) a power connector via another of the at least two throughholes, and including one or more expansion device connectors internal to the module interior volume for providing at least one of data signals and power received from the standard data connector and the power connector to an expansion device.

摘要: An anatomically fitted belt is used for carrying one or more waist-mounted respiratory protection components. The belt includes a main belt portion and a belt buckle portion. The main belt portion includes a back section, a left side section, a right side section, a left connective section between the back section and the left side section, and a right connective section between the back section and the right side section. The back section is wider than the other sections of the main belt portion. The main belt portion has a generally conical shape to be secured around a user's pelvic girdle and to align the respiratory component over the lumbar region of the user's spine to distribute a weight of the respiratory component. The belt buckle portion includes a right piece connected to the right side section of the main belt portion and a left piece connected to the left side section of the main belt portion.

摘要: A combination EEPROM and Flash memory is described containing cells in which the stacked gate transistor of the Flash cell is used in conjunction with a select transistor to form an EEPROM cell. The select transistor is made sufficiently small so as to allow the EEPROM cells to accommodate the bit line pitch of the Flash cell, which facilitates combining the two memories into memory banks containing both cells. The EEPROM cells are erased by byte while the Flash cells erased by block. The small select transistor has a small channel length and width, which is compensated by increasing gate voltages on the select transistor and pre-charge bitline during CHE program operation.

摘要: A novel Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-MS) sample support plate is described. The plate comprises a top sample presentation surface and a lower surface, wherein the top sample presentation surface comprises at least one aperture for receiving a sample. The aperture extends through and between the top sample presentation surface and the bottom surface, and contains a porous material that retains and concentrates at the target spot analyte and matrix molecules contained in the sample on the surface of the aperture. Methods for making and using the sample support plate in conventional and automated MALDI-MS are also described.

摘要: A novel FLASH-based EEPROM cell, decoder, and layout scheme are disclosed to eliminate the area-consuming divided triple-well in cell array and allows byte-erase and byte-program for high P/E cycles. Furthermore, the process-compatible FLASH cell for EEPROM part can be integrated with FLASH and ROM parts so that a superior combo, monolithic, nonvolatile memory is achieved. Unlike all previous arts, the novel combo nonvolatile memory of the present invention of ROM, EEPROM and FLASH or combination of any two is made of one unified, fully compatible, highly-scalable BN+ cell and unified process. In addition, its cell operation schemes have zero array overhead and zero disturbance during P/E operations. The novel combo nonvolatile memory is designed to meet the need in those markets requiring flexible write size in units of bytes, pages and blocks at a lower cost.

Preferably, the method of depositing an organosilicate layer minimizes plasma-induced damage to the substrate.

摘要: A service-oriented framework allows client applications to access computational services hosted on a distributed computing grid. Services facilitate remote, parallel execution of code in a way that is scalable, fault-tolerant, dynamic and language-independent. Services can be written in a variety of languages, and do not need to be compiled or linked with vendor-supplied code. A client written in one language can invoke a Service written in another. A benefit of the invention over traditional approaches is that it virtualizes the Service. Rather than send a request directly to the remote machine hosting the Service, a client request is sent to a manager, which enqueues it until an Engine is available. The first Engine to dequeue the request hosts the Service. This mechanism, in which a single virtual Service instance (the client-side object) is implemented by one or more physical instances (Engine processes), provides for fault tolerance and essentially unlimited scalability.

Each source of the mask ROM cells is shared with one Flash cell source. Each electrode of each mask ROM cell gate is coupled to at least one Flash cell control gate. The mask ROM cell gate electrodes comprise a common layer with electrodes of the Flash cell control gates. The mask ROM cells lie in spaces between the Flash cells in the array.

摘要: Multiple parallel chemical reactions are performed under pressure in a reactor including a multi-row array of reaction vessels situated between a temperature control base and a fluid flow manifold. The manifold consists of an input portion connected to the fluid supply by a five-way valve and a distribution portion which includes separate parallel distribution channels, one for each row of reaction vessels. A control valve for each distribution channel is interposed between the manifold portions such that the fluid flow to each row of reaction vessels can be independently controlled. An explosion proof transparent shield can be situated between the base and manifold, surrounding the reaction vessels. The interior of the shield can be flooded with inert gas.
