Abstract: Techniques for implementing an infrastructure orchestration service are described. A configuration file for a deployment to a first execution target and a second execution target can be received. A first safety plan can be generated for the first execution target that comprises a first list of resources and operations associated with deployment at the first execution target. Approval of the first safety plan can be received. A second safety plan can be generated for the second execution target that comprises a second list of resources and operations associated with deployment at the second execution target. A determination can be made whether the second safety plan is a subset of the first safety plan. If the determination is that the second safety plan is a subset of the first safety plan, the second safety plan can automatically be approved and transmitted to the second execution target for deployment.

Abstract: A compliance discovery and integration process is implemented in association with a cloud-based security and compliance platform and associated CI/CD framework. The process assumes an existing DevOps-based deployment of a product, such as an enterprise application that executes in a runtime production environment. The technique of this disclosure addresses the problem of misalignment between a compliance policy and the product's post-deployment regulation posture by providing tools and methods that enable pro-active augmentation of governance and compliance policy during the pre-deployment phase and with respect to a next deployment of the product (e.g., a next or updated version). Thus, when the product is later deployed in its next deployment, its regulation posture (post-deployment) is already consistent with the compliance policy.

Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for automatically presenting a visualization of information within a terminal for interfacing with a distributed version control system, an input is received at a command line interface of a terminal for interfacing with a distributed version control system, the input including an operation to be performed by the distributed version control system. The operation to be performed by the distributed version control system is identified based on the input. The operation is executed to generate output of the operation. The output is displayed within the command line interface. A graphical visualization of the output is automatically displayed within a visualization pane of the terminal, wherein the graphical visualization is interactive.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology include an improved system for measuring the impacts of feature rollouts on machine utilization and service performance. More specifically, embodiments of the present technology include an exposure control system based on randomized machine assignments and a corresponding score card for comparing machine utilization metrics. In an embodiment, a computing apparatus identifies a new feature in a codebase, wherein the codebase has been updated with the new feature across multiple resources, enables the new feature for a target group of the multiple resources while keeping the new feature dormant for a control group of the multiple resources, collects performance information for the target group and the control group for a time period, and generates a visualization of one or more differences between the performance information for the target group and the performance information for the control group for the time period.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method, executed in a Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) software modification manager, for coordination of NFVI software modifications of a NFVI providing at least one Virtual Resource (VR) hosting at least one Virtual Network Function (VNF), comprising receiving an NFVI software modifications request; sending a notification that a software modification procedure of the at least one VR is about to start to a VNF level manager, the VNF level manager managing a VNF hosted on the at least one VR provided by the NFVI; applying software modifications to at least one resource of the at least one VR; and notifying the VNF level manager about completion of the software modifications.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for performing radio access network (RAN) functions in a cloud at a medium access control (MAC) scheduler application that executes on a machine deployed on a host computer in the cloud. The method receives data, via a RAN intelligent controller (RIC), from a first RAN component. The method uses the received data to generate a MAC scheduling output. The method provides the MAC scheduling output to a second RAN component via the RIC.

Abstract: An example embodiment may involve persistent storage containing definitions of (i) assignments of bots to endpoints, (ii) software packages for execution by the bots, (iii) schedules for the bots to execute the software packages, and (iv) processes that associate the bots with the software packages and the schedules. This embodiment may also involve processors configured to: receive, from a computing device, a request for bot deployment, wherein the computing device includes a bot runtime; identify, in the processes, a bot assigned to an endpoint that is associated with the computing device, wherein the bot is associated with a software package and a schedule; and transmit, to the computing device, data including a representation of the bot, a copy of the software package, and a copy of the schedule, wherein reception of the data causes the bot to execute, using the bot runtime, the software package in accordance with the schedule.
