    摘要: An active ester compound having an alkoxy group is provided having the structure: wherein:R.sup.1 is derived from a polyisocyanate R.sup.1 (NCO).sub.m reacted with an active hydrogen-containing material to form the urethane group in the compound;m is an integer of at least 2; andR.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently alkyl groups having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms.The compound is useful as a crosslinking agent when combined with active hydrogen-containing resinous binders in curable film-forming compositions.

    摘要: The present invention provides a photosensitive resin composition into which a photosensitive group can be easily given and introduced and which is excellent in conservation, stability, heat resistance, practical physical properties and sensitivity and which can inhibit cracks from occurring at the time of development.The photosensitive resin composition of the present invention comprises 100 parts by weight of a polyimide, 10-100 parts by weight of an isocyanurate having a (meth)acrylic group, 10-100 parts by weight of a polyalkylene glycol di(meth)acrylate, and 0.5-20 parts by weight of a photopolymerization initiator. This composition can be utilized to obtain a patterned polyimide film having heat resistance.This composition can be applied to uses of electronic materials such as interlayer films of multi-layer boards of printed-wiring boards, and the like.

    摘要: A composition is disclosed which includes a urethane resin containing reactive ethylenically unsaturated groups and hydroxyl groups, which is preferably derived by reacting a polyisocyanate and an isocyanate reactive group-containing unsaturated monomer selected from the group consisting of hydroxyalkyl acrylates, hydroxyalkyl methacrylates, hydroxyalkyl acrylamides, hydroxy functional allylic compounds, and mixtures thereof to form an isocyanate group-containing reaction product which is then reacted with an organic polyol wherein the equivalent number of hydroxyl groups is in excess compared with the equivalent number of isocyanate groups. The composition also includes an aminoplast resin for reaction with hydroxyl groups on the urethane resin in an amount of less than about 10% by weight based on solids of the composition which is effective in thin film curing of the composition. The composition can also optionally include a thermally activated free radical initiator and a cure-promoting catalyst different from the free radical initiator; such as a metal soap. A method is also disclosed of applying a layer of the composition in which a portion of the layer is a thin film. The method is particularly useful in applying the composition to a substrate which is coated with a cationically electrodeposited primer. The composition and method of the invention are particularly useful for making a chip resistant coating and obtaining good cure at thin film layers of the composition.
