    摘要: A method of forming an electrical connection from a drive circuit to an electrical device is provided. An electrical connection structure includes: electrodes formed on a device side, electrodes formed on a flexible film carrier having an electrode pattern connected to a drive circuit; and an anisotropic conductive film having metal particles or metal plated particles dispersed therein, interposed between the electrodes on the device side and the electrodes on the flexible film carrier, for electrically connecting the electrodes facing each other through thermocompression bonding. The electrodes, on the flexible film carrier are exposed by removing the flexible film at an electrical connection area, and the length of each exposed electrode is from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm.

    摘要: A liquid crystal apparatus is constituted by a liquid crystal device including a pair of substrates at least one of which is provided with first electrodes, and a liquid crystal disposed between the substrates; a plurality of driver devices disposed on said at least one substrate at a periphery thereof and electrically connected to the first electrodes; a driver board for supplying signals to the driver devices, disposed in parallel with the driver devices; second electrodes disposed on said at least one substrate and electrically connected to the driver devices; and a plurality of connection sheets disposed between the driver board and said at least one substrate and each electrically connecting each of the driver devices to the driver board via the second electrodes. In the apparatus, the first electrodes are supplied with driving signals for driving the liquid crystal device via the driver board, the connection sheets, the second electrodes and the driver devices, thus ensuring electrical connection of electrodes formed on the driver board with the second electrodes connected to the driver devices.

    摘要: A liquid crystal apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel side electrode extending from a liquid crystal panel and an external circuit side electrode extending from an external circuit and connected to the liquid crystal panel side electrode for driving the liquid crystal panel, by using conductive material. The liquid crystal panel side electrode includes a laminated film made of an indium tin oxide film having a surface and a metal film on the surface. The metal film is selected from one of a molybdenum film and an aluminum film. The liquid crystal panel side electrode has a left portion of the metal film and an indium tin oxide film opening area, at a connection area between the liquid crystal panel side electrode and the external circuit side electrode. The indium tin oxide film of the liquid crystal panel side electrode is covered with the metal film over the entire surface thereof. The liquid crystal panel side electrode is formed in a stripe shape, and the left portion of the metal film of the liquid crystal panel side electrode at the connection area is formed to have a width 1/30 to 1/3 times as narrow as a width of the stripe.
