    摘要: An apparatus for performing capacitor amplification in an electronic device may include a first resistor and a second resistor that are connected in series and coupled between a set of input terminals of a receiver in the electronic device, a common mode capacitor having a first terminal coupled to a common mode terminal and having a second terminal, and an alternating current (AC)-coupled amplifier that is coupled between the common mode terminal and the second terminal of the common mode capacitor. The first resistor and the second resistor may be arranged for obtaining a common mode voltage at the common mode terminal between the first resistor and the second resistor. In addition, the common mode capacitor may be arranged for reducing a common mode return loss. Additionally, the AC-coupled amplifier may be arranged for performing capacitor amplification for the common mode capacitor.

    摘要: An amplifier for amplifying signals is presented. A cascode power amplifies includes two or more adjacent cascode amplifiers and at least one remote cascode amplifier. The adjacent cascode amplifiers are lined up adjacent each other with inputs of the adjacent cascode amplifiers connected to a common input line and outputs of the of adjacent cascode amplifiers connected to a common output line. The adjacent cascode amplifiers generally operate in parallel. The remote cascode amplifier is spaced apart from the adjacent cascade amplifiers. An input transmission line connects an input of the remote cascode amplifier to the common input line. An output transmission line connects an output of the remote cascode amplifier to the common output line. Amplified outputs of the adjacent cascode amplifiers and amplified outputs of the remote cascode amplifier are power combined and summed into a coherent amplified output signal that is output on the output transmission line.

    摘要: A driver circuit for a power amplifier of a radio base station. The driver circuit comprises a radio frequency input, an output for connection to a power amplifier, a combiner connected to the radio frequency input and a first bias leg. The first bias leg comprises a bias source input, a first capacitor leg and a second capacitor, wherein the first capacitor leg is connected between the combiner and ground, and the second capacitor is connected between the combiner and ground. The first capacitor leg comprises a first switch and a first capacitor, the first switch being provided between the combiner and the first capacitor such that, in a first state, the first capacitor is connected to the combiner and, in a second state, the first capacitor is disconnected from the combiner. A corresponding power amplifier assembly, radio base station and method are also presented.

A bias supplying unit includes a bias supplying transistor switched based on the control signal, to supply the bias voltage having a voltage level according to a switching operation of the bias supplying transistor.
