摘要: A fabric for the forming, press and dryer sections of a paper machine, for use as a reinforcing base for a polymeric-resin-coated paper-processing belt or as a corrugator belt, or in other industrial settings where a material is being dewatered, is formed from a monofilament yarn, which is spirally wound in the form of a closed helix, adjacent turns thereof being abutted against and joined securely to one another. The monofilament yarn has a first side and a second side which are oppositely and correspondingly shaped, so that, when spirally wound in a plurality of turns, the first side fits closely into or against the second side of an adjacent and abutting turn, and adjacent spiral turns are secured to one another at the abutting first and second sides to form the fabric.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a nonwoven fabric comprising reconstituted or regenerated fibers (hereinafter referred to as reconstituted fiber or reconstituted fibers), said nonwoven fabric exhibiting improved aesthetic and physical performance, thus permitting use of the fabric in a wide variety of consumer applications. The nonwoven fabric exhibits a three-dimensional image that is durable to both converting and end-use application. In particular, the present invention contemplates that a fabric is formed from a precursor web comprising at least one reconstituted fiber, which when subjected to hydroentanglement on a moveable imaging surface of a three-dimensional image transfer device, an enhanced product is achieved.

摘要: The composite nonwoven fabric for protective clothing of the present invention comprises (A) a water vapor-permeable, water-resistant nonwoven fabric made of polyolefin-based ultra-fine fibers having an average fiber diameter of 5 nullm or less, (B) a heat-bonding nonwoven fabric made of thermoplastic elastomer ultra-fine fibers, and (C) a porous fabric. The nonwoven fabric B is interposed between the nonwoven fabric A and the porous fabric C, and the fabrics A, B and C being integrally bonded to each other. The composite nonwoven fabric is suitable for a protective clothing because it is water vapor-permeable and water-resistant on its outer side to be exposed to outside air, and is of high strength, sweat-absorbable and antistatic on its inner side, and also well-balanced in these properties.

摘要: The invention relates to a reinforcing material formed from bulked fibres that are combined in the form of a mat or a nonwoven. The bulked fibres differ as regards the material or degree of bulking. Alternatively or in addition, unbulked fibres are used. In the process for the production of the reinforcing material, the endless elementary threads having a high modulus of elasticity arranged parallel to one another in a roving, yarn or slightly twisted yarn are forced apart or separated from one another with an aqueous binder-containing suspension of particles of the unblown precursor of the hollow plastics spheres of particle size ranging from 5 to 10 nullm and the resultant interstices are largely filled with the particles, and the material thus obtained is subjected for the necessary time to the temperature required for the blowing process of the particles of the precursor, and this is processed further to form a mat using rovings, yarns or slightly twisted yarns that have been variously blown or not blown, and/or using rovings, yarns or slightly twisted yarns that consist of other materials. The reinforcing material is used for the production of lightweight laminates of thermosets. Compared to the prior art lightweight laminates with an excellent loading capacity can be produced.
