    摘要: An operation control device of a multi-cylinder engine having a long life and low power consumption is superior in acceleration/deceleration follow-up characteristic. Individual cylinder intake pipes 15a to 15d of a multi-cylinder engine 10 controlled by an operation control device 30a, and provided with cylinders 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d are provided with throttle valves 21a to 21d of which valve openings are controlled by motors 20a to 20d. The operation control device 30a including a microprocessor 31, a program memory 32a, and a data memory 33 performs an ON/OFF control of the motors 20a to 20d of individual cylinders in accordance with a corrective data stored in the data memory 33 for correcting an air intake resistance fluctuation in each individual cylinder intake pipe and a depression degree of an accelerator pedal.

    摘要: A throttle plate manipulator, for allowing an engine to operate that has a throttle plate, the throttle plate having a gas mixer having cross-hairs including a main opening and vertical and horizontal bars extending across the opening, the throttle plate having a butterfly located behind the cross hairs that controls the engine speed. The manipulator includes a manipulator disc that secures over the cross-hairs using an attachment rod having a hook that hooks behind one of the bars of the cross-hairs, and a control rod that extends through the manipulator disc and engages the butterfly. Fuel-air flow into the engine is allowed and adjusted as desired by rotating the control rod to advance the control rod toward the butterfly.

The handling device has a main lever connected with one end portion of a cable and designed to pull the cable connected via the other end portion thereof with an actuating member, a movable pulley around which a portion of the cable in the vicinity of the one end portion is wound as a turn-around point, and a position adjustment mechanism comprising a sub-lever. The sub-lever is designed to move the movable pulley to a desired holding position so as to adjust a distance of pulling the cable.

    摘要: A pedal side drive mechanism which is rotatable relative to a throttle shaft in both opening and closing directions is provided at one end of the throttle shaft. The throttle shaft opens and closes a throttle valve. A motor side drive mechanism, which is rotatable relative to the throttle shaft in both opening and closing directions, is provided at the other end of the throttle shaft. The pedal side drive mechanism and the motor side drive mechanism are able to be driven independently without interfering with each other, in both of the opening and closing directions of the throttle shaft. Accordingly, driving of the throttle can be performed using either the accelerator pedal or the motor, and functions including fail-safe measures or a limp home mode can be accomplished using a simple structure.

    摘要: An engine control apparatus controls a throttle valve opening degree in response to a demand output of a driver. A target charged intake air amount of air taken into a cylinder per intake stroke is set in response to the demand output. Based on an air pressure generated at an upstream side of a throttle valve, the maximum actual charged intake air amount is set as a maximum value of the actual charged intake air amount taken into the cylinder per intake stroke. The target charged intake air amount is normalized by calculating a ratio of the target charged intake air amount to the maximum actual intake air amount. The throttle valve opening degree is set based on the normalized target charged intake air amount and an engine speed. Then, a signal for actuating the throttle valve is output to a throttle actuator so that the throttle valve has the set opening degree. Fuel injection amount is set based on the target charged intake air amount.

    摘要: A throttle control system has two throttle opening sensors. When one sensor in a PID feedback control loop becomes abnormal, as sensed by monitoring the difference between outputs of the dual sensors, the use of sensor output for throttle feedback control is switched from the abnormal one to the other, normal one. Which one of the throttle opening sensors has become abnormal is determined by monitoring the intensity of electric current flowing to a DC motor which drives the throttle valve. Further, if an abnormality in the newly-used other sensor is determined, feedback control is continued based on an estimation of throttle opening calculated by using output of the sensor before its malfunction.
