摘要: A threat sensing system is provided including, in some aspects, a plurality of threat sensing devices distributed throughout a school or facility, with each of the threat sensing devices comprising one or more acoustic sensors, one or more gas sensors, and a communication circuit or communication device configured to output sensor data to a system gateway. The system gateway is configured to receive and process the sensor data output from the threat sensing devices and determine whether the processed sensor data corresponds to one of a predetermined plurality of known threats (e.g., a gunshot) and, if so, to communicate the existence of the threat, the processed sensor information, and/or predetermined messaging information to one or more recipient devices (e.g., first responders, dispatchers).

摘要: A method and a biomechanical parameter determination system (BPDS) for determining biomechanical parameters of one or more target objects in a region are provided. The BPDS dynamically receives first data including temperature data and/or motion data of target objects in the region from first sensors and dynamically receives second data including optical images, sound data, amplitude, and/or distance of the target objects in the region from second sensors, over a network. The BPDS filters the dynamically received first data and second data of the target objects and identifies one or more target objects using the temperature data and/or motion data of the target objects. The BPDS determines one or more biomechanical parameters including, for example, positions, acceleration, walking speed, fall, posture, etc., associated with each of the identified target objects in the region using the filtered first data and/or the filtered second data for emergency alerting and/or health assessment.

摘要: Provided are mechanisms and processes for determining physiological measurements associated with an infant. In one example, a system includes an infant monitoring device and a monitoring hub. An infant monitoring device interface is configured to receive measurement data transmitted wirelessly from multiple sensors associated with an infant monitoring device. The infant monitoring device is configured to be worn by an infant. A camera interface is configured to receive sensor data from a camera. The camera located in proximity to the infant. The sensor data comprises visual data of the infant. A processor is configured a physiological measurement of the infant based on the measurement data received from the infant monitoring device and the visual data received from the camera.

摘要: A system that monitors various conditions of a plurality of hospital beds located in different rooms of a healthcare facility is provided. Alternatively or additionally, other types of equipment may be monitored by the system. Various configurations of network interface units that are coupleable to or integrated into a hospital bed are also disclosed. The system receives data from the hospital beds and/or other equipment and initiates a communication to a wireless communication device of at least one designated caregiver in response to the received data being indicative of an alarm condition.
