摘要: A projectable or push-out type writing instrument cartridge, such as a projectable cartridge for a ball point pen, has a filler impregnated with an aqueous ink, a writing point at its one end, a device for feeding the ink to the writing point, and an end plug mounted in the other end of the cartridge. The plug has an air passage which satisfies a predetermined condition. Preferably, the end plug consists of an inner rod and an outer tube which receives the inner rod in such a manner that the air passage is formed between the rod and the tube. The cartridge is secured in the casing of the instrument, and is projectable to a writing position.

摘要: A plurality of analog memory devices alternately store successive one-line segments of facsimile signals. During the write-in period of one memory, the signals of one-line segments are stored while the immediately preceding one-line segment is read out of the other memory and processed to make an amplitude comparison for each picture element. The amplitude comparison is translated into a width of an output pulse for each picture element, which width also reflects the time duration of the facsimile recording paper. Thus, a picture is reproduced with a gradation of shade values.

摘要: The efficiency of work for constructing the roof, the external walls and the like of a house will be greatly improved if the architectural material is standardized and designed to minimize the processing which must be made at the site. To this end, there is provided a specific profile of an architectural panel material, i.e. a substantially inverted T-shaped profile mainly consisting of a main body section having an inclined area, and an overlapping head section having an overlapping area continuous with and projecting toward the upper side from the inclined area. Remarkable effects, in addition to above stated advantages, are derived from this profile, such as preventing infiltration of rainwater into the back side of the panel, improved mechanical strength, and an attractive three-dimensional appearance of the finished roof and external wall.

摘要: The invention provides a heat-resistant composite comprising a noncombustible porous core material (e.g., a calcined mineral such as perlite, etc.) which has been impregnated or coated with an inorganic filler material (e.g., sodium metaborate, sodium meta silicate, sodium metaphosphate, etc.) capable of foaming spontaneously when heated at an elevated temperature. The composite may be incorporated in a molded synthetic resin (e.g., polyurethane) to obtain a flame and heat-resistant molded article in the form of a panel useful as a building material, which, in turn, may be sandwiched between a facing material (e.g., a steel plate, plywood, etc.) and a backing material (e.g., aluminum foil, asbestos paper, etc.) to form a heat-resistant structure which is also useful as a building material. The composite may also be formed by mixing and pelletizing at least one organic filler material with a clay (e.g., kaolin, bentonite, etc.) and incorporating this composite into a synthetic resin panel to obtain a flame and heat-resistant panel also suitable as a building material.

摘要: There are provided an image processing section for carrying out processing to detect high frequency components of an image, a calculating section for calculating feature data representing distribution of frequency of appearances of high frequency components, a compression parameter setting section for setting compression parameters based on feature data, and a RAW compression processing section for carrying out RAW compression processing for image data based on compression parameters. Together with data size of lossless compression data, such as RAW data, not becoming large, the processing to do this is carried out in a short time.

摘要: In an anti-theft system for a vehicle, a tilt signal generating device outputs a tilt signal based on a tilt of the vehicle. A characteristic sensing device receives the tilt signal and detects a characteristic of the tilt signal. A computing device computes a change of a parameter based on the characteristic of the tilt signal. A state estimating device estimates a parking state of the vehicle based on the change of the parameter. A determination rule setting device sets a determination rule based on an estimation result of the state estimating device. A determining device generates an operational signal when the determining device determines that there is fear of theft by comparing the tilt and the determination rule. A warning device informs the fear of the theft of the vehicle based on the operational signal.
