    摘要: Systems, methods and computer readable media are provided for rendering virtual reality content. One example system includes a housing to be attached to a head of a user using a strap that connects to the housing. Display optics are integrated in the housing and are oriented on an internal side of the housing that is configured for orientation toward eyes of the user when the housing is attached to the head of the user. Further, electronics are integrated with the housing and a holder is integrated in the housing. The holder is configured to retain a smartphone. When the smartphone is retained by the holder a screen of the smartphone is oriented toward the display optics of the housing. A connector is integrated in the housing to enable connection of the smartphone to the electronics when the smartphone is retained by the holder. The smartphone includes a camera facing away from the display optics. The screen of the smartphone is configured to render images of a virtual reality (VR) space that is viewable through the display optics, and a program executed by the smartphone is configured to enable the camera to provide a pass-through view of a real world environment. The pass-through view provides images of the real world environment instead of the VR space.

A tracking device captures data associated with a user, which is used to determine that a user has reacted (e.g., visually or emotionally) to a particular part of the screen. The processing power in the areas of the screen that the user is not paying attention to is decreased and diverted from those areas, resulting in decreased detail and fidelity of the graphics and/or decreased updating speed.

    摘要: A cloud gaming system is disclosed. One example includes a game console that is configured to execute video games. The game console provides an interface for a remote client device to interface with the game console and request that games be played. The game console being located in a first data center. The system further includes a storage server connected to the game console over a network connection in the first data center. A save data server is also provided and is located in a second data center. A data selection logic of the game console is provided. The data selection logic is configured to retrieve save data from the save data server and cache the save data to a save data disk of the game console. The data selection logic is configured to automatically retrieve the save data upon detecting a session initiation for a user account associated with the remote client device. The data selection logic is configured to retrieve the save data that has a likelihood of being used during the session. In one example, the likelihood of being used is determined based on historical game play as associated with the user account.

The method includes steps of receiving at a visualization server information about a scene corresponding to game play at a client computer, receiving additional information about the scene at the visualization server; and constructing a visualization at the visualization server based on the scene, the constructing based at least in part on the received information and the received additional information. In another embodiment, the visualization may be composed by the user rather than being a scene corresponding to game play. In a further embodiment, a method is given for providing a visualization of a scene corresponding to game play, including: receiving at a visualization server information about a scene corresponding to game play at a client; modifying the scene information; and constructing a visualization at the visualization server based on the modified scene information.

Each character is associated with a table of quantified attributes including emotional attributes and non-emotional attributes. An adjustment to an emotional attribute of a game character is determined based on an interaction with another game character. The behavior of the first game character is then determined based on the adjusted non-emotional attribute.
