Abstract:
In a method of operating an external defibrillator configured to provide a defibrillation shock to a patient, physiological data is gathered from the patient. Next, the physiological data is analyzed using a first algorithm to determine whether to initiate a shock. Then, if it is determined that a defibrillation shock should be provided, the physiological data is analyzed using a second algorithm to verify the determination to shock.
Abstract:
A suction brush assembly of a vacuum cleaner has a housing having a suction duct to provide a suction passage for dust, a rotation roller having a plurality of ribs formed at an outer circumference, a wheel disposed at the housing, and a power transmission unit to rotate the rotation member by exerting a rotation force of the wheel to the rotation member when the wheel is rotated. The wheel and the rotation member are rotated in directions opposite to each other by the power transmission unit. When a user wants to clean fabrics such as bedclothes or a carpet, the effect of hitting of the ribs can be firmly secured due to the rotation of the rotation rollers. Therefore, the effect of removing dust remarkably increases.
Abstract:
A discrete multi-tone (DMT) processor receives predetermined control signals from a digital signal processor (DSP) within an asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) modem, modulates transmission data in response to the control signals, and demodulates reception data. The DMT processor includes a frame synchronization signal generator, a transmitter, and a receiver. The frame synchronization generator generates a transmission frame synchronization signal and a reception frame synchronization signal in response to a cyclic prefix contained in the transmission data or reception data and a reception synchronization shift signal applied from the DSP. The transmitter DMT modulates and gain-controls the transmission data input in response to the transmission frame synchronization signal The receiver gain-controls and DMT demodulates the reception data response to the reception frame synchronization.

A cyclone-type dust-collecting apparatus for use in a vacuum cleaner has a cyclone body having an inflow port and an outflow port, the cyclone body being capable of forming a whirling air current from dust-laden air drawn into the vacuum cleaner through the inflow port; a dust-collecting chamber being removably connected with the cyclone body, for collecting dust separated from the drawn air in the whirling air current; and a grill assembly disposed at the outflow port of the cyclone body for preventing a reverse flow of dust through the outflow port of the cyclone body. The grill assembly has a first grill member having a supporting portion supported on the outflow port of the cyclone body; a second grill member removably connected to a lower opening of the first grill member; and a grill portion provided to define a passage in fluid communication with the outflow port in an outer circumference of the second grill member.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a toner composition for an inorganic black matrix used for a color filter that is an important part of TFT-LCD by dispersing the fine particles of an inorganic pigment such as carbon black powder in a block copolymer solution having a high molecular weight and containing a pigment affinity group, and a preparation method thereof. It is the recent trend of the worldwide market to use a toner composition prepared by the pigment dispersion method in the manufacture of the organic black matrix. Thus the present invention provides a toner composition necessary to the manufacture of an organic black matrix and its preparation method using the pigment dispersion method, which involves mixing a block copolymer solution having a high molecular weight and containing a specific pigment affinity group, a inorganic pigment having electrical properties such as conductivity and optical density, a solvent and a dispersion adjuvant and applying optimized dispersion-mixing and dispersion equipment.
Abstract:
A buffer memory controller allows to sequentially store sampled data having variable bit length. That is, rather than assigning each sampled data to a single word of the memory, the sampled data is sequentially stored head to tail so that memory space is not wasted. The buffer memory controller includes: a sample pointer reading unit providing word addresses indicating the word position where the samples start, and a bit address indicating a bit position where the sample starts; a word shift register receiving data corresponding to the word addresses from the buffer memory, shifting the inputted data by the specific bit according to maximum assignable word, and outputting data of maximum assignable bit; a barrel shifter receiving the output of the shift register, shifting the inputted data by the bit address, and outputting the shifted data as maximum sample bit; and a masking circuit for inputting an output of the barrel shifter, masking the inputted data with mask data in accordance with each bit corresponding to the sample, and outputting the masked data as the maximum sample bit.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rod adapter for operating recliner and a seat reclining device comprising the same, where the seat reclining device comprises a fixed frame; a rotating frame rotatably coupled to the fixed frame; a recliner coupled to the fixed frame at one side and to the rotating frame at the other side to adjust rotation angle of the rotating frame; a shaft rod penetrating the fixed frame, the rotating frame and the recliner; a recliner lever provided rotatable around a shaft receiving part disposed coaxially to an end part of the shaft rod; and a rod adapter disposed between the shaft rod and the recliner lever and having a rod inserting recess part where the shaft rod is inserted and a lever shaft part which is inserted into the shaft receiving part of the recliner lever so that it intermediates between rotations of the shaft rod and the recliner lever. Therefore, compatibility between the recliner lever and the shaft rod as components of the seat reclining device can be enhanced.
