摘要： A rubber-reinforcing cord (12) of the present invention includes at least one strand. The strand includes at least one filament bundle and a coating provided to cover at least a portion of the surface of the filament bundle. The coating contains a polymer and cellulose nanofibers, and does not contain a resorcinol-formaldehyde condensate. The polymer contains at least one selected from a polyurethane and a rubber component. In the coating, the content of the cellulose nanofibers is 0.1 to 10 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polymer. The proportion of the coating in the rubber-reinforcing cord is 18 vol % or more.

A rubber composition for producing a foam having a high expansion ratio, comprising the following components (a), (b), (c), and (d):
(a) a rubber component;
(b) a chemical foaming agent;
(c) a compound represented by the following formula (1) or a salt thereof; and
(d) at least one member selected from the group consisting of vulcanizing agents and crosslinking agents:
wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aralkyl group; R2, R3, and R4 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aralkyl group, or an aryl group; and each of these groups optionally further has one or more substituents.-

摘要： A water-based hydrogel polymer coating and a method of application to natural rubber or other elastomeric latex products are provided. The water-based hydrogel polymer is mixed with a blend of at least one elastomeric material to provide a hydrogel polymer blend composition. The water-based hydrogel polymer blend composition is applied in a single application to an elastomeric article, such as gloves, without additional solvents in the polymer blend composition and without a separate acid or chemical priming step. The water-based hydrogel coating herein provides increased lubricity to facilitate improved wet and dry donning of the elastomeric article.

摘要： An aqueous adhesive composition for treating a reinforcing fiber for bonding to a thermosetting polymer matrix and products made therefrom such as power transmission belts. The adhesive composition includes: water as the solvent or dispersing medium; a polyelectrolyte co-curable with the polymer matrix; a primer material compatible with the fiber and co-curable with the polyelectrolyte; and optionally a rubber curative compatible with the polyelectrolyte and the polymer matrix. A fiber-reinforced, composite polymer system may thus include a thermosetting polymer matrix, a reinforcing fiber embedded therein, and an adhesive composition coating the fiber; the adhesive composition including a polyelectrolyte co-curable with the polymer matrix and a primer material compatible with the fiber and co-curable with the polyelectrolyte. The adhesive composition may include a curative compatible with the polyelectrolyte. In one preferred embodiment, the invention is an aqueous adhesive composition including water, an epoxy resin, a maleated polybutadiene derivative, and a curative.

摘要： Provided is an anti-vibration rubber composition comprising a diene rubber, a silane coupling agent having at least one of a structural unit represented by general formula (1) and a structural unit represented by general formula (2), carbon black, and silica, at a blending ratio of carbon black (a) to silica (b), i.e. (a)/(b), of 10/90 to 45/55 (mass ratio). The anti-vibration rubber composition can be vulcanized in a shortened time while maintaining easy workability in vulcanization and gives an anti-vibration rubber excellent in durability. R1 represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, L1 and L2 each independently represent a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R2 and R4 each independently represent a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R3 and R5 each independently represent a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and x and y each independently represent an integer of 1 or more.
