A die for extruding honeycomb structural bodies includes a plurality of ceramic batch exhaust grooves and a plurality of ceramic batch supply apertures. Tubes are fitted in at least some of the ceramic batch supply apertures to improve or make constant the surface roughness and dimensions of inner surfaces of ceramic batch supply apertures through which the ceramic batch passes, thereby producing perfect ceramic honeycomb stuctural bodies. The adjustment of flow of ceramic batch is so simplified that any other controlling plate which would be required in the prior art is not needed for controlling the flow. When the supply apertures have been worn off, the tubes are exchanged by new ones to restore the required inner surfaces easily.

Each of internal second sheet layers is disposed between two first sheet layers and two external second sheet layers constitute two main faces of the composite laminate. The thickness of the internal second sheet layers is greater than the thickness of the external second sheet layers. The first sheet layers and the second sheet layers are bonded to each other by penetration of a part of the first particulate aggregate contained in the first sheet layers into the second sheet layers. This configuration can reduce the transverse shrinkage in the firing step of the composite laminate.

A process for producing a printed circuit board is disclosed, in which use is made of a copper-clad laminate comprising a substrate and, superimposed thereon, a copper foil having its entire surface covered with a solder foil. A solder foil 4 is applied to cover the entire surface of a copper foil 2 superimposed on a substrate 1 (the copper foil 2 and the substrate 1 forming a copper-clad laminate 3). An etching resist is applied to the surface of the solder foil 4, and the solder foil 4 and the copper foil 2 are simultaneously etched to form a conductor circuit pattern 8. Thereafter, the etching resist is stripped off, and unneeded portions of the solder foil 4 are removed on the conductor circuit pattern 8 to thereby produce a printed circuit board. The above process of the invention facilitates soldering operation for the printed circuit board and reduces the production cost thereof.
