    摘要: The present invention relates to a dialysis machine having an extracorporeal circuit in which a dialyzer is located which has a chamber on the blood side which is flowed through by blood and a first pressure sensor, which is located upstream of the chamber on the blood side in the direction of flow of the blood, for determining a first pressure value and a second pressure sensor, which is located downstream of the chamber on the blood side in the direction of flow of the blood, for determining a second pressure value, wherein the dialysis machine has first means for determining the pressure difference between the second pressure value and the first pressure value, second means for determining the dynamic viscosity of the blood on the basis of the determined pressure difference, of the blood flow rate through the chamber on the blood side and of one or more characteristic properties of the dialyzer and third means for determining the hematocrit or the hemoglobin value of the blood on the basis of the determined viscosity, and wherein the dialysis machine has a control or regulation unit which is configured such that it sets the blood flow rate and/or the dilution rate and/or the ultrafiltration rate such that the time change of the hematocrit and/or of the hemoglobin value does not exceed a limit value or lies in a desired value range.

    摘要: A system or method automates and optimizes citrate anticoagulant supplementation in a blood filtration circuit during CRRT. A processor-based control system interfaces with a blood filtration circuit to detect patient blood flow into the circuit, detect fluid loss through a hemofilter, and sense vital electrolyte concentrations in the blood flow, and in response, control the addition of citrate, substitution fluid, and electrolyte supplements to ensure stability of plasma concentrations in post-dilution flow returned to the patient. The controller executes the method embodied as process control algorithms for calculating an optimal citrate flow rate as a function of selected, detected, and calculated system parameters. Citrate may be added to the circuit separately, or as part of a substitution solution or a dialysate.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for monitoring the supply of substitution fluid upstream or downstream of a dialyser or filter arranged in an extracorporeal blood stream. One embodiment provides, for the detection of predilution or postdilution, for measuring the pressure in the blood stream downstream of the dialyser or filter, predilution or postdilution being recognized on the basis of the change in pressure following the shutting off and/or starting up of the substituate pump provided for conveying the substitution fluid. Another embodiment provides for recognizing predilution or postdilution on the basis of the comparison of the oscillating pressure signal attributable to the substituate pump to a characteristic reference signal. The characteristic reference signal to which the pressure signal of the substituate pump is compared is preferably the oscillating pressure signal of a blood pump arranged in the blood stream for conveying the blood upstream of the dialyser or filter. In addition, the invention relates to an extracorporeal blood treatment device with a facility for detecting predilution or postdilution, which device operates according to the processes detailed above.
