    摘要: An imaging system includes an array of photodetectors and electronic circuitry associated with the photodetectors to read intensity values from the photodetectors. The electronic circuitry can include an integrator with an integrator capacitor having a nominal capacitance, wherein a gain of the electronic circuitry associated with a photodetector can depend at least in part on the actual capacitance of the integrator capacitor, the actual capacitance differing from the nominal capacitance. The imaging system can be configured to determine a gain factor that depends at least in part on the actual capacitance and/or a signal voltage input to the integrator. The imaging system can be configured to apply the gain factor based at least in part on the actual capacitance of the integrator capacitor calculated. The imaging system can be a thermal imaging system and may include an infrared camera core.

    摘要: An illumination device described herein includes at least a phosphor converted LED, which is configured for emitting illumination for the illumination device, a first photodetector and a second photodetector. A spectrum of the illumination emitted from the phosphor converted LED comprises a first portion having a first peak emission wavelength and a second portion having a second peak emission wavelength, which differs from the first peak emission wavelength. The first photodetector has a detection range, which is configured for detecting only the first portion of the spectrum emitted by the phosphor converted LED. The second photodetector has a detection range, which is configured for detecting only the second portion of the spectrum emitted by the phosphor converted LED. Methods are provided herein for calibrating and controlling each portion of the phosphor converted LED spectrum, as if the phosphor converted LED were two separate LEDs.

    摘要: The present invention provides a high-dynamic-range sensing device and the sensing method thereof. The high-dynamic-range sensing device includes a control unit and sensing units with different sensing ranges. In the sensing method, the sensing units give sensing values, and then the control unit compares the sensing values and the upper sensing limit of the sensing units, respectively. When a sensing value is equal to the upper sensing limit, the control unit rejects the sensing value or interrupts the sensing of the sensing unit thereof. Thereby, the sensing device quickly excludes the sensing units which obtain saturated signals and their sensing values and thus switches between the alternative sensing units with different sensing ranges or picks up the optimum one of the sensing values.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for stabilizing the gain of a self scanned photo-diode array is provided for use with spectrophotometers and other light measurement equipment. A gain stabilizer light emitting diode (LED) constantly illuminates the array so that photons are continuously impinging upon the self-scanned photo-diode array. In the course of a typical measurement sequence, an illuminated scan is first taken, wherein said photo-diode array is illuminated by LED and the light being analyzed, followed by a dark reading wherein the photo diode array is illuminated by the LED only. The dark reading measurement is then subtracted from the illuminated reading to derive an accurate reading of the light being analyzed.

    摘要: A flux monitor high light intensity cut-off circuit for a night vision device which includes a photo detector and an integrator. Incident light striking the photo detector causes its resistance to change, resulting in a voltage change at the photo detector. As long as the photo detector voltage is below a first threshold voltage level, the integrator is inoperative. When the voltage at the photo detector exceeds the first threshold voltage level, this voltage is then applied to the input of the integrator. The integrator then produces an output voltage proportional to the integral of the input current. Once the output voltage of the integrator reaches a second threshold voltage, power to an image intensifier assembly within the night vision device is interrupted.
