摘要: A control apparatus is applicable to an internal combustion engine having an exhaust passage arranged with an NSR catalyst and an SCR catalyst, wherein when it is necessary to decrease NH3 adsorbed to the SCR catalyst, then an air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture to be com busted in the internal combustion engine is controlled to a predetermined lean air-fuel ratio which is higher than a theoretical air-fuel ratio if a temperature of the SCR catalyst is not less than a lower limit temperature at which NH3 can be oxidized, while the air-fuel ratio of the air-fuel mixture to be com busted in the internal combustion engine is controlled to a predetermined weak lean air-fuel ratio which is lower than the predetermined lean air-fuel ratio and which is higher than the theoretical air-fuel ratio if the temperature of the SCR catalyst is less than the lower limit temperature.

摘要: An integrated purification method and an integrated purification system for an industrial exhaust gas containing cyanides, hydrocarbons and NOx. The method comprises the steps of: 1) subjecting the exhaust gas containing pollutants such as cyanides, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides (NOx) to a gas-liquid separation device (1) to separate the free fluid, then mixing with the air blown by the air blower (201, 202), and preheating by the heating unit; 2) the mixture entering into the selective catalytic combustion (SCC) reactor (5) for the selective catalytic combustion reaction to convert harmful substances into CO2, H2O and N2, the catalysis being performed in two stages: the earlier stage is catalyzed by supported molecular sieve catalyst, and the latter stage is catalyzed by supported precious metal catalyst; and 3) the gas came out from the SCC reactor (5) entering into the heating unit to recover the heat, and then the purified exhaust gas being discharged directly through the chimney (6). The system comprises a gas-liquid separation device (1), a heating unit and a selective catalytic combustion reactor (5), a gas outlet of the gas-liquid separation device (1) being connected to the selective catalytic combustion reactor (5) through the heating unit, and an exhaust gas outlet of the selective catalytic combustion reactor (5) being connected to a chimney (6) through the heating unit.

摘要: A lean burn engine exhaust treatment articles comprising a low temperature lean NOx trap (LT-LNT) composition and methods for their use is disclosed. A lean burn engine exhaust gas treatment system including the lean burn engine exhaust treatment articles is also disclosed. The low temperature lean NOx trap (LT-LNT) compositions can comprise a washcoat layer on a carrier substrate, the washcoat layer including a platinum group metal component impregnated on a first support material comprising at least 50% alumina. The washcoat layer may further include a low temperature NOx storage material comprising a bulk particulate reducible metal oxide. Methods of monitoring the aging state of a lean burn oxidation catalyst in a lean burn engine catalyst system are also disclosed.

The catalytic chambers comprise at least one catalyst that substantially reduces nitrogen oxides or carbon monoxide or both.

摘要: Synergized platinum group metals (SPGM) with ultra-low PGM loadings employed as close-coupled (CC) three-way catalysts (TWC) systems with varied material compositions and configurations are disclosed. SPGM CC catalysts in which ZPGM compositions of binary or ternary spinel structures supported onto support oxides are coupled with commercialized PGM UF catalysts and tested under Federal Test Procedure FTP-75 within TGDI and PI engines. The performance of the TWC systems including SPGM CC (with ultra-low PGM loadings) catalyst and commercialized PGM UF catalyst is compared to the performance of commercialized PGM CC and PGM UF catalysts. The disclosed TWC systems indicate that SPGM CC TWC catalytic performance is comparable or even exceeds high PGM-based conventional TWC catalysts, with reduced tailpipe emissions.

摘要: A selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst includes a support layer. A copper-loaded chabazite (Cu/CHA) layer is supported on the support layer. A copper-loaded beta zeolite (Cu/beta) is supported on the Cu/CHA layer. The Cu/beta may be hydrothermally pre-aged prior to use of the SCR catalyst in a vehicle. The pre-aged Cu/beta is essentially free of phosphorous (P), calcium (Ca), zinc (Zn), sodium (Na), potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), iron (Fe), CaSO4, Ca19Zn2(PO4)14, CaZn2(PO4)2, ash, and/or soot.

摘要: A reducing agent injection device includes a honeycomb structure and a urea spraying device spraying a urea water solution in mist form. A pair of electrode members is formed in the honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure of the reducing agent injection device, the hydraulic diameter HD, defined as HD=4×S/C, when the area of the cross section of one of the cells in the cross section perpendicular to the cell extending direction is S, and the peripheral length of the cross section of one of the cells is C, is 0.8 to 2.0 mm. Also, the open frontal area OFA of the honeycomb structure in the cross section perpendicular to the cell extending direction is 45 to 80%.

The systems and methods include a filtration device positioned downstream from an SCR catalyst of an aftertreatment system disposed in the exhaust system. The filtration device can also be used for particulate filter diagnostics and for treatment of ammonia slip.
