摘要: The present invention provides improved packaging for harvested plant tissues, such as agricultural products. In some embodiments harvested plant tissues are placed in a package that contains either at least one hole, or a gas-permeable patch. The hole or patch is in turn covered by an adjustable aperture. The present invention improves available packaging methods by providing an additional level of control over the gas composition inside the package. Some embodiments of the present invention also mitigate damage to harvested plant tissues by contacting the plant tissues with ozone during transportation and storage. In some embodiments, harvested plant tissues are treated with ozone before packaging. The present invention also reduces costs by enabling the same package or kind of package to be used for different contents that have different atmospheric requirements for optimal protection from excessive ripening and spoilage.

摘要: Acupuncture device uses a laser beam. Acupuncture device is configured for bringing about a suitable treatment relevant to the pain in a patient and so that it is adapted to all aspects of practice, in particular so as to enable easy replacement of laser diodes of different intensity levels or laser modules of different wavelengths and a lasting operating capacity of all its elements. Therefore, the acupuncture device includes the following elements: a control apparatus including several outlets for electrical conductors; several electrical conductors connected to the outlets of the control apparatus; several laser diodes connected to the electrical conductors; and several laser needles which are connected to the laser diodes, so that the laser beam emitted by the laser diodes is injected into the laser needles, and which are designed to contact, through their output region, a patient's body. Device may be used to irradiate blood.

摘要: An air spring device characterized in that a cover encloses a pot-shaped basic component and a separate connecting component with a first connecting region for one end of a bellows. The basic component and the connecting component are in direct contact with one another. In a region of the cover there is also provided, as a separate component, a holder for a protective collar. The holder is in direct contact with the connecting component. A common tightening ring, the two ends of which are fastened to each other by a connection, hold together, from the outside and in sealing manner, the basic component, the connecting component, and the protective collar holder.

摘要: An illumination system including a light source, light guides coupled to the light source, each including an input surface and an output surface, emissive material positioned to receive light from at least one light guide, and an interference reflector positioned such that the emissive material is between the output surfaces of the light guides and the interference reflector is disclosed. The light source emits light having a first optical characteristic. The emissive material emits light having a second optical characteristic when illuminated with light having the first optical characteristic. The interference reflector substantially transmits light having the second optical characteristic and substantially reflects light having the first optical characteristic.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and to a device for identifying markers in data blocks. The method is characterized in that a number of data blocks (201a 201n) are received by a receiver (202) and one specific data block from the number of data blocks (201a 201n) is analyzed in order to determine whether the specific data block contains a marker (203) or not. Once a data block that contains a marker (203) is identified, a full-rate signaling block (206) that is transmitted at full rate and a half-rate signaling block (207) that is transmitted at half rate are searched for markers. A predetermined reference pattern is provided for correlation that is subsequently divided into sub-ranges that in turn are correlated with a predetermined reference pattern to identify a signaling frame in the full-rate signaling blocks (206) and/or the half-rate signaling blocks (207).

摘要: This invention is an apparatus for imaging metrology, which in particular embodiments may be integrated with a processor station such that a metrology station is apart from but coupled to a process station. The metrology station is provided with a first imaging camera with a first field of view containing the measurement region. Alternate embodiments include a second imaging camera with a second field of view. Preferred embodiments comprise a broadband ultraviolet light source, although other embodiments may have a visible or near infrared light source of broad or narrow optical bandwidth. Embodiments including a broad bandwidth source typically include a spectrograph, or an imaging spectrograph. Particular embodiments may include curved, reflective optics or a measurement region wetted by a liquid. In a typical embodiment, the metrology station and the measurement region are configured to have 4 degrees of freedom of movement relative to each other.
