A thin film battery package includes: a case having an open top side and defining a predetermined space therein, wherein the case has one side at which first and second electrodes formed of a metal material are exposed and electrically connected to the outside; a battery block on which a plurality of unit batteries are stacked so that the plurality of unit batteries is electrically connected between a first terminal and a second terminal, wherein the battery block is seated within the case so that the first and second terminals of the unit battery disposed at one end thereof are electrically connected to the first and second electrodes; and a cover sealed and coupled to the top surface of the case.

Methods and apparatus to form biocompatible energization elements are described. In some embodiments, the methods and apparatus to form the biocompatible energization elements involve forming cavities comprising active cathode chemistry. The active elements of the cathode and anode are sealed with a laminate stack of biocompatible material. In some embodiments, a field of use for the methods and apparatus may include any biocompatible device or product that requires energization elements.

The present invention relates to a battery package attached to an external substrate, which includes an electronic circuit and a power terminal electrically connected to the electronic circuit, to supply power to the electronic circuit, or to accumulate energy by collecting power. A battery package, according to an exemplary embodiment, comprises: a battery unit that has one or more secondary battery cells and leads that are connected to the secondary battery cells and exposed; a flexible encapsulation body that accommodates the battery unit therein; exposed electrodes that are exposed on the surface of the flexible encapsulation body and are electrically connected to the leads to electrically connect to the electronic circuit; and a first Velcro part mounted on the surface of the flexible encapsulation body.

Provided is a secondary battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an alkaline electrolytic solution, a separator structure, and a resin container. The separator structure includes a ceramic separator composed of an inorganic solid electrolyte exhibiting hydroxide ion conductivity and optionally a resin frame and/or resin film disposed to surround the periphery of the ceramic separator. The separator structure is bonded to the resin container with an adhesive, and/or the ceramic separator is bonded to the resin frame and/or the resin film with the adhesive. The adhesive is selected from an epoxy resin adhesive, a natural resin adhesive, a modified olefin resin adhesive, and a modified silicone resin adhesive, and the adhesive exhibits a variation in weight of 5% or less after immersed, in a solidified form, in a 9 mol/L aqueous KOH solution at 25° C. for 672 hours.
