摘要: A method and apparatus for crushing waste gas cans between a pair of rotating rollers installed in a treatment chamber and removing the residual gas and residual liquid from the waste gas cans. The atmosphere in each of a waste gas can loading chamber, which is adjacent to the treatment chamber, the treatment chamber and a discharge chamber is replaced with an inert gas, thereby maintaining the oxygen concentration in the treatment chamber within a low range in which the residual gas will not burn explosively. Crushing of the waste gas cans is carried out while the oxygen concentration in the treatment chamber is within the low range. The pair of rotating rollers have two rotating shafts disposed approximately parallel to each other and sprocket wheels disposed on each rotating shaft at regular spacings.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide an oxygen-absorbing resin composition having a high oxygen absorbability and capable of absorbing oxygen for a long period of time. The present invention provides an oxygen-absorbing resin composition comprising polyolefin resin (A) obtained by polymerizing an olefin having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, resin (B) which is other than resin (A) and which acts as a trigger for the oxidation of resin (A), and transition metal catalyst (C), wherein resin (B) is dispersed in the matrix of resin (A) so that the oxidation reaction of matrix resin (A) is caused and thus oxygen is absorbed when the oxygen-absorbing resin composition is brought into contact with oxygen. This oxygen absorbing resin composition has a high oxygen absorbability and is advantageous in cost because oxygen is absorbed in resin (A).

摘要: A thickness-reduced deep-draw-formed can obtained by using, as the substrate, a cold-rolled steel plate having a carbon content in the steel of 0.02 to 0.15% by weight, a manganese content in the steel of 0.2 to 1.0% by weight, a mean diameter of crystal grain of smaller than 6.0 .mu.m, a tensile strength over a range of from 35 to 55 kg/mm.sup.2, and a thickness of 0.17 to 0.30 mm in a step of subjecting an organic resin-coated structure of the surface-treated steel plate to the thickness-reducing deep-draw forming. This makes it possible to suppress the generation and accumulation of heat in the organic resin-coated steel plate to a level lower than the conventional levels. Therefore, the organic resin coating is prevented from being peeled off or damaged and, as a result, the corrosion resistance can be markedly improved. Moreover, wrinkles can be effectively prevented from developing at the time of reducing the thickness, and the forming can be continuously carried out at a high speed without being substantially affected by the generation or accumulation of heat. It is further possible to easily carry out the post treatments such as necking, flanging and multi-beading after the forming. The thickness-reduced deep-draw-formed can of the invention is effective particularly for preserving various kinds of juices, coffee, oolong tea and any other beverages after it is hermetically sealed, retort-sterilized and reduced for its internal pressure.

摘要: For the easily openable metal vessel lids openable by severing the scope with the aid of an opening piece, the formation of pinholes and/or cracks can be prevented, the corrosion resistance of the vessel lids as a whole (including the scored part) is improved, and the openability can be markedly improved by lessening the force required to open the vessel lids and, furthermore, feathering can be prevented by limiting the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio of the biaxially drawn polyester film provided onto at least the interior side of the vessel to within the range of from 4 to 17 and also by limiting the anisotropy index of in-plane crystal orientation to 30 or less.

摘要: The present invention relates to resin pellets which comprises a thermoplastic resin (A) and an oxidation catalyst (B) which is not supported by any carrier, wherein if the peak area in the vicinity of 1715 cm−1 is defined to be Ic and the peak area observed in the vicinity of 1470 cm−1 is defined to be Im in the IR spectroscopic measurement of the pellets, the ratio: Ic/Im observed for the surface of the pellet is greater than that observed for the interior thereof. The pellets are thermoplastic resin pellets excellent in the oxygen-absorbing capacity and accordingly, they can suitably used as pellets for molding an oxygen absorptive resin article.
