摘要: A bracket for mounting an antenna to an antenna alignment device may comprise a base bracket and an extension bracket. The extension bracket may comprise a retention clip that may be inserted into a slot in the base bracket. Particularly, the extension bracket with the antenna alignment device may be lifted up with one hand such that the retention clip can be inserted into the slot. The forward weight of the antenna alignment device may pull down the extension bracket to allow the retention clip and the slot to form a retention mechanism. To disengage the retention mechanism, the extension bracket can be pushed forward, then lifted up. Therefore, the combination of the base bracket and the extension bracket may provide a convenient, one-hand installation of an antenna alignment device at different positions at a distance with respect to an external surface of the antenna.

摘要: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for locating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). A region of airspace may be scanned with two scanning apparatuses. Each scanning apparatus may include one or more directional Radio Frequency (RF) antennae. The two scanning apparatuses may have different locations. Radio frequency signals emitted by a UAV can be received at each of the two scanning apparatuses. The received radio frequency signals can be processed to determine a first location of the UAV.

摘要: An underground radar device and a method thereof are provided that do not require replacement of antennas for transceiving in conformity with the width of a road, and can achieve exploration of a buried object with a single scan. An underground radar device includes a transmission array antenna and a reception array antenna, and further includes a position variable mechanism capable of changing intervals between antenna elements of the transmission array antenna and the reception array antenna while keeping all the intervals equal. The position variable mechanism includes a drive unit, a plurality of crossbars constituting an expandable link, and a plurality of link sections for coupling so as to change inclination angles of a V-shape and an inverted V-shape of the expandable link.

摘要: An antenna apparatus for use in a wireless network and method of operating such an antenna apparatus are provided. A wireless network controller provides a configuration of such an antenna apparatus, a method of operating such a wireless network controller, and a resulting wireless network. The antenna apparatus comprises a directional antenna and a uniform circular antenna array. The directional antenna can be rotatably positioned about an axis with respect to a fixed mounting portion of the apparatus in dependence on wireless signals received by the antenna array. The antenna array allows the antenna apparatus to receive wireless signals isotropically and thus to accurately monitor the wireless signal environment in which it finds itself. The antenna apparatus can thus monitor and characterise incoming signals, both from external interference sources and from other network nodes, and the directional antenna can then be positioned in rotation to improve the network throughput.
