摘要: Aspects of the disclosure involve systems and methods for utilizing Virtual Local Area Network separation in a connection, which may be a single connection, between a customer to a telecommunications network and a cloud environment to allow the customer to access multiple instances within the cloud through the connection. A customer may purchase multiple cloud resource instances from a public cloud environment and, utilizing the telecommunications network, connect to the multiple instances through a communication port or connection to the cloud environment. To utilize the single connection or port, communication packets intended for the cloud environment may be tagged with a VLAN tag that indicates to which cloud instance the packet is intended. The telecommunications network may route the packet to the intended cloud environment and configure one or more aspects of the cloud environment to analyze the attached VLAN tag to transmit the packet to the intended instance.

The status of the links is one of blocked and non-blocked. A blocked link is not used by a Spanning Tree Protocol (STP). 摘要: There is described a Precision Time Protocol (“PTP”) transparent clock for inter-VLAN forwarding comprising a Layer 2 switch and a PTP module. The switch includes a first port associated with a first VLAN and a second port associated with a second VLAN. The switch detects a PTP frame at the first port and the PTP module receives the PTP frame. The switch forwards the PTP frame to the second port in response to the PTP module determining that the PTP frame is a forwardable frame. For another embodiment, the switch includes a ternary content-addressable memory (“TCAM”), and the PTP module configures the TCAM to include forwarding rules. The Layer 2 switch forwards the PTP frame to the second port in response to identifying a particular forwarding rule associated with forwarding the PTP frame.

摘要: Presented are efficient systems and methods for automatically detecting and configuring network connections in Fibre Channel (FC) and similar networks. In various embodiments, this is accomplished by using an I/O module (IOM)'s fabric login (FLOGI) response or FLOGI request to identify the type of an uplink interface as either FC Gateway or FC Direct Attach, determining whether server interfaces coupled to the TOM support FCoE, and then, automatically configuring server interfaces based on the identified type of uplink interface.

The network manager determines, based on the switch model types and the active configuration, a number of ports of the plurality of switches of the switch stack and a current configuration of each port of each switch of the switch stack. The network manager updates a device configuration element of a network management user interface to display the current configuration of each port of each switch of the switch stack in a manner that indicates that the switch stack is a single logical switch.

摘要: Data processing method, apparatus, device, and storage medium are provided, so as to improve the efficiency of data processing. The method includes: receiving a function call request; creating a function instance and a virtual network card thereof according to the function call request, to enable the virtual network card to establish communication with at least one gateway node, wherein a gateway service instance of the gateway node is attached with a virtual network card; and sending a data packet corresponding to the function instance after being encapsulated to the gateway node through the virtual network card of the function instance, to enable the gateway node to forward thereof to a virtual private cloud. Based on the virtual network card, data interactions between two instances can be realized, so as to realize the separation of function computing and gateway, and ensure the speed of cold start of function computing.

摘要: A novel design of a gateway that handles traffic in and out of a network by using a datapath pipeline is provided. The datapath pipeline includes multiple stages for performing various data-plane packet-processing operations at the edge of the network. The processing stages include centralized routing stages and distributed routing stages. The processing stages can include service-providing stages such as NAT and firewall. The gateway caches the result previous packet operations and reapplies the result to subsequent packets that meet certain criteria. For packets that do not have applicable or valid result from previous packet processing operations, the gateway datapath daemon executes the pipelined packet processing stages and records a set of data from each stage of the pipeline and synthesizes those data into a cache entry for subsequent packets.

摘要: A method supporting distributed resilient network interconnect (DRNI) in a link aggregation group at a network device is disclosed. The method starts with encapsulating a distributed relay control protocol data unit (DRCPDU) in a frame, wherein the DRCPDU includes a protocol data unit (PDU) structure. The PDU structure includes a type field indicating that the DRCPDU is for DRCP, a version field indicating a version number of the DRCP, and a set of type/length/values (TLVs) including: a terminator TLV indicating an end of the PDU structure, a portal information TLV indicating characteristics of the first portal, a portal configuration information TLV indicating configuration information of the first portal, a DRCP state TLV indicating variables associated with an intra-portal link (IPP), a home ports information TLV and a neighbor ports information TLV. The method continues with transmitting the frame encapsulating the DRCPDU from the network device to a neighbor network device.

摘要: Disclosed are various examples for segregating virtual private network (VPN) traffic based on the originating client application. A network gateway receives network traffic from a tunnel endpoint of an application-specific virtual private network tunnel. The network traffic originates from a client application executed in a client device. The network gateway identifies a particular virtual local area network through which the network traffic is received. The network gateway determines, using an identifier of the particular virtual local area network and a mapping of virtual local area network identifiers, characteristics of the client application or the client device from a set of mobile device management attributes. The network gateway determines whether to route the network traffic to a destination based at least in part on the characteristics.

摘要: Disclosed methods define VLAN time slots for one or more VLANs within an HCI environment. A management resource may control virtual application access to each VLAN in accordance with the VLAN time slots wherein only one virtual application may connect to the VLAN during a VLAN time slot. Disclosed methods may define VLAN time slots for each of the plurality of virtual applications. The VLAN time slots may be defined dynamically, wherein durations of the VLAN time slots may be re-calculated each VLAN cycle. A duration of the VLAN time slot for a particular virtual application may be determined based on the number of packets transmitted by the virtual application during a previous VLAN cycle. Each VLAN time slot may include an active interval, for transmitting packets, and an inactive interval. Each active interval may include a fixed duration base interval and a variable duration dynamic interval.
