The present invention relates to a tunable matching network (TMN) for a transceiver, to a transceiver front-end including the TMN, and a method for operating the TMN. The TMN comprises an antenna port for connecting to an antenna, a receiver port for connecting to a receiver, and a transmitter port for connecting to a transmitter. The TMN further comprises a receive path to provide signals from the antenna port to the receiver port during a receive (Rx) mode, and a transmit path to provide signals from the transmitter port to the antenna port during a transmit (Tx) mode. It also comprises a tunable bank comprising at least one tunable capacitor and being connected to the antenna port in a shared part of the receive path and the transmit path, and an inductance connected in the transmit path between the tunable bank and the transmitter port. In addition, the TMN comprises a device configured to connect the inductance to ground in the Rx mode and to disconnect the inductance from ground in the Tx mode.

Thereby, in a situation where the rotation of the alternating-current motor becomes too fast with respect to the carrier period, motor rotation control for suppressing a sudden fluctuation of a motor load can be performed by faster reaction while suppressing an increase in an arithmetic control load of a CPU.
