摘要: A method for converting an alcohol to hydrocarbons comprises two serially placed catalysts. The fraction of aromatics is reduced to desired levels. The method comprises: a) contacting the alcohol with a first catalyst on a carrier, said carrier is selected from a mixed oxide and a mesoporous carrier, said first catalyst comprises at least one basic oxide and optionally at least one selected from the group consisting of metals and metal oxides, then b) contacting the resulting mixture from step a) with a second catalyst wherein said second catalyst is an etched metal loaded zeolite catalyst wherein the etched metal loaded zeolite catalyst is manufactured with a method comprising etching with subsequent loading of metal onto the catalyst, wherein the metal is in the form of nanoparticles, and wherein at least two different metals are loaded onto the etched zeolite catalyst. The hydrocarbons are recovered and used for instance for fuel including gasoline, kerosene, diesel, and jet propellant, and jet fuel. Naturally, other uses of hydrocarbons should not be excluded.

摘要: The present invention relates to a methane combustion catalyst including platinum and iridium supported on a tin oxide carrier for combusting methane in a combustion exhaust gas containing sulfur oxide. In the methane combustion catalyst, a ratio RTO of platinum oxides to metal platinum is 8.00 or more, wherein the ratio RTO is based on existence percentages of the metal platinum (Pt) and the platinum oxides (PtO and PtO2) obtained from a platinum 4f spectrum analyzed and measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and calculated in accordance with the following expression. In the following expression, RPt is an existence percentage of the metal platinum (Pt), RPto is an existence percentage of PtO, and RPto2 is an existence percentage of PtO2.

摘要: The invention discloses a binder-free high strength and low steam-to-oil ratio ethylbenzene dehydrogenation catalyst, which is characterized by comprising the following components in percentage by weight: (a) 60-85% Fe2O3; (b) 3-25% K2O; (c) 0.1-5% MoO3; (d) 3-20% CeO2; (e) 0.1-5% CaO; (f) 0.1-5% Na2O; (g) 0.1-5% MnO2, wherein the weight ratio of sodium oxide to manganese dioxide is 0.1-10, and no binder is added during the preparation of the catalyst. The low steam-to-oil ratio ethylbenzene dehydrogenation catalyst provided by the present invention contains no binder and maintains high strength, and has high activity and stability at low steam-to-oil ratio.

摘要: A process for vapor-phase carbonylation of methanol to methyl formate, whereby a feed gas containing methanol, carbon monoxide, hydrogen and oxygen is passed through a reactor loaded with a supported nano-scaled platinum group metal heterogeneous catalyst to produce methyl formate by a vapor-phase carbonylation reaction, under reaction conditions with a space velocity of 500-5000 h−1, a temperature of 50-150° C. and a pressure of 0.01-2 MPa. Supported nano-scaled platinum group metal heterogeneous catalysts are prepared via ultrasonic dispersion and calcination. Methyl formate is produced and isolated under relatively mild conditions.
