摘要: A method of detecting a cough in an audio stream includes a step of performing one or more pre-processing steps on the audio stream to generate an input audio sequence comprising a plurality of time-separated audio segments. An embedding is generated by a self-supervised triplet loss embedding model for each of the segments of the input audio sequence using an audio feature set, the embedding model having been trained to learn the audio feature set in a self-supervised triplet loss manner from a plurality of speech audio clips from a speech dataset. The embedding for each of the segments is provided to a model performing cough detection inference. This model generates a probability that each of the segments of the input audio sequence includes a cough episode. The method includes generating cough metrics for each of the cough episodes detected in the input audio sequence.

摘要: Devices, systems and methods are provided to assist with the monitoring or management of a patient's medical condition, which have one or more sensors sensing individual patient data on or near the patient. This individual patient data corresponds to at least one physiological parameter of the patient and includes a sensor that does not require the patient to apply it or activate it. The data is then transmitted to a processor for computing a risk or status signal that is based on comparison from a baseline related to a patient or related population and an alert or alarm can be generated based on the result of the signal.

摘要: Systems, apparatus, and methods for detecting air breathed by a user and/or one or more gases are provided herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus may include a test material adapted to reduce in size when exposed to one or more stimuli. In some embodiments, one or more chemicals may be disposed on the test material and, when exposed to the air breathed by the user, the one or more chemicals are adapted to transform from a first color to a second color. In some embodiments, when the test material reduces in size an intensity of the second color increases. The apparatus may further include a face mask. In this regard, the test material may be removably attached to the face mask. The apparatus may further include a spectrophotometer configured to determine if the one or more chemicals have transformed from the first color to the second color.

摘要: The invention provides a body-worn monitor featuring a processing system that receives a digital data stream from an ECG system. A cable houses the ECG system at one terminal end, and plugs into the processing system, which is worn on the patient's wrist like a conventional wristwatch. The ECG system features: i) a connecting portion connected to multiple electrodes worn by the patient; ii) a differential amplifier that receives electrical signals from each electrode and process them to generate an analog ECG waveform; iii) an analog-to-digital converter that converts the analog ECG waveform into a digital ECG waveform; and iv) a transceiver that transmits a digital data stream representing the digital ECG waveform (or information calculated from the waveform) through the cable and to the processing system. Different ECG systems, typically featuring three, five, or twelve electrodes, can be interchanged with one another.
