    摘要: A nut assembly intended for use with a lead screw in precision movement devices for compensating for harmonic error from the lead screw by utilizing one or more partial nuts which are opposed along an axis of the lead screw such that the partial nuts ride the lead screw independently. An averaging apparatus is used to hold the partial nuts such that as the partial nuts follow the harmonic error, the error is averaged through the averaging apparatus to compensate for the harmonic error allowing the resulting motion of the nuts to be substantially linear.

More particularly, a home communication center can include a femtocell, a DECT interface, and/or a network interface. The home communication center can register one or more cellular communication devices with the home communication center; receive, from the femtocell, a call directed to one of the cellular communication devices; determine if a redirection rule applies to the call; if a redirection rule applies to the call, determine a DECT phone to receive the call; determine a phone number for the DECT phone; and, send the call to the DECT interface to call the phone number of the DECT phone.

    摘要: An automated method for developing new products within a development entity, comprises receiving respective catalogs of technology assets, each including at least one of a patent, trade secret, know-how, documentation, prototypes, pre-production units, production samples, tooling, and demonstration frameworks. Each catalog corresponds to a discrete pool of technology assets having subject matter in common. The development entity also receives, from the originating owner, title to each pool in exchange for an equity interest in the development entity and an option to re-acquire the pool upon payment of a reacquisition fee to at least one primary investor. Further development of each technology asset pool is funded by at least one primary investor, who receives an equity interest in the development entity in exchange for its capital investments. Costs expended by the development entity to develop new product concepts corresponding to each asset pool are separately tracked. If the re-acquisition option is exercised, these costs form the basis for calculating the fee to be paid. If not, monetization is achieved by selling and/or licensing elements the enhanced technology asset pool to a spin-off entity funded by at least one secondary investor.

    摘要: A communication system that intercepts incoming radio signals and transmits a second signal notifying the user that a radio signal has been intercepted. The communication does so by using an interference generator that is passive, such as a shield, or active, such as destructive interference generators to create a zone in which the radio device does not receive the original incoming radio signal. Using an antenna located outside that zone, a registrar then intercepts incoming signals and notifies the user of the communication using a user-defined method. For example, the incoming signal can be rerouted to a landline or a paper message can be generated and delivered to the user.

    摘要: A data acquisition system is disclosed where a first communication device transmits a transmitted signal to a second communication device. The second communication device encodes the transmitted signal with a code generating a retransmitted signal. The retransmitted signal is then transmitted back to the first communication device. The code can be indicative of an environmental element, such as a traffic sign. The first communication device can determine a distance to the environmental element by monitoring a time for the retransmitted signal to arrive. The first communication device can also encode the transmitted signal with information, such as voice for example.
