摘要:
In labeling a cell, and separating and collecting the cell according to a degree of the labeling using a cell separator, effects on the cell is minimized and the use of the collected cell is facilitated, thereby, when labeling a cell, the cell is labeled in the state where interaction of each cell is retained. In the labeling, a specific labeling material present on a surface of a target cell is taken in the cell via a transporter, and the cell is dispersed one by one to separate the same with a cell separator. Immediately after the separation, the cell is put in a solution not containing the specific labeling substance to remove the specific labeling substance taken in the cell. This series of steps is continuously conducted with a cell separation chip.

A method and apparatus of stably obtaining fluorescent images of two or more fluorescent samples includes disposing the samples onto compartments defined on a substrate. The compartments are sequentially irradiated with an exciting light where the intensity varies. A value of fluorescence as generated from each of the samples is determined, and a fluorescent image is obtained based on the value of fluorescence.

Disclosed herein are an inspection apparatus for cell reaction by a device for liquid processor, which can set a fluid running route to a cell reaction site required according to the kind of an inspection of a cell reaction to be conducted with a great degree of freedom, and an inspection method of a cell reaction using the inspection apparatus for cell reaction. The inspection apparatus for cell reaction is composed of a device for liquid processor comprising a base material, micro conduits formed in the base material, micro spaces, valves and a valve control mechanism, and is used in an inspection of a cell reaction, in which a liquid medium is fed through a micro conduit linked to a micro space, in which cells are placed, and a test liquid containing a cell stimulator is fed to inspect a cell reaction caused by the test liquid. The inspection method of the cell reaction utilizes the inspection apparatus having the construction described above.

Different probes each having a specific base sequence are immobilized to each of independent areas formed on the surface of a substrate, complementary polynucleotides in a sample solution are hybridized to the probes, and each of the independent areas on the substrate is heated and then cooled in sequence, and hence the solution is recovered to extract different polynucleotides separately corresponding to individual probes.
摘要:
There are beforehand prepared a monomer having a reaction residue and a polynucleotide probe set comprising plural kinds of polynucleotide probes having a residue bonded to the reaction residue. The monomer is mixed with each kind of polynucleotide probes comprising any plural probes selected from the polynucleotide probe set. Each kind of the resultant mixtures is added to each of different small holes to make the mixture into gel matrix. Thus, a polynucleotide probe chip is produced. Sample DNA is forcibly migrated in the gels by electrophoresis. Laser light is projected onto the side face of the chip. The fluorescence emitted from the whole surface of the chip is collectively detected with a high-sensitive two-dimensional detector. Thus, the polynucleotide probe chip, holding various kinds of DNA probes, for detecting DNA can be provided. This chip has high hybridization-efficiency and makes high-sensitivity and high-speed DNA detection possible.

A thermal decomposition apparatus for plastics wherein plastics are melted and thermally decomposed, and the resulting decomposition gas is cooled for condensation and recovered in the form of a thermal decomposition oil. The apparatus comprises a thermal decomposition reactor for melting and thermally decomposing the plastics therein, an extraneous matter discharge duct having one end opened in a melt of plastics within the reactor, an extraneous matter collecting container connected to the other end of the discharge duct, and an aspirator for aspirating extraneous matter within the reactor together with the melt through the discharge duct into the container.

An ink-jet recording sheet that contains as main ingredients 69-95% wood pulp and 4-30 wt % precipitated calcium carbonate and which has a Stockigt sizing degree of 2-25 seconds as measured for a basis weight of 64 g/m.sup.2, or a Stockigt sizing degree ranging from 5.times.(basis weight/64).sup.2 to 25.times.(basis weight/64).sup.2 at a water extracting pH of 4.5-7.5. This sheet allows a clear color to develop and provides an image having circular dots and sharply defined edges. This sheet may also incorporate a cationic synthetic polymer and an alkylketene dimer.
