摘要: Provided is a heat dissipation sheet with which, after effectively conducting heat from a heat-emitting electronic component in the in-plane direction or the perpendicular direction, the heat is absorbed or diffused and infrared radiation is given off from the surface. A heat dissipation sheet provided with a graphite sheet layer and a heat-radiating silicone rubber sheet layer, the sheet obtained by layering, without providing an adhesive layer, a heat-radiating silicone rubber sheet and a graphite sheet in which pores are impregnated with a silicone resin, or curing of the graphite layer is performed following impregnation with a curable silicone composition.

摘要: Some embodiments comprise membranes comprising a first layer comprising a porous graphene-based material; a second layer comprising a porous graphene-based material; a channel positioned between the first layer and the second layer, wherein the channel has a tunable channel diameter; and at least one spacer substance positioned in the channel, wherein the spacer substance is responsive to the environmental stimulus. In some cases, the membranes have more than two layers of porous graphene-based material. Permeability of a membrane can be altered by exposing the membrane to an environmental stimulus. Membranes can be used in methods of water filtration, immune-isolation, timed drug release (e.g., sustained or delayed release), hemodialysis, or hemofiltration.

摘要: A piston for an internal combustion engine and method of construction thereof are provided. The piston includes an upper crown formed at least in part by a first metal material and a thermally insulating insert. The upper crown has an upper wall forming an upper combustion surface and a ring belt region. The upper combustion surface is formed at least in part by the thermally insulating insert. The thermally insulating insert has a base surface with pores extending upwardly therein. The first metal material is infused and solidified in the pores, with the first metal material forming a first bonding surface. The piston further includes a body portion formed from a second metal material. The body portion provides pin bosses having coaxially aligned pin bores and diametrically opposite skirt portions. The body portion has a second bonding surface bonded to the first bonding surface of the first metal material.

摘要: A lightweight antiballistic plate assembly includes a ceramic antiballistic plate that is strengthened with a superhard protective layer attached to the strike face of the antiballistic plate. In one embodiment, a strike face of the plate has a layer of superhard material, such as polycrystalline diamond (PCD), attached by sintering. In one embodiment, the ceramic antiballistic plate is made from a mixture of silicon carbide and superhard protective strike face comprising a material selected from the group consisting of polycrystalline diamond (PCD), polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN), thermally stable polycrystalline diamond and combinations thereof.

摘要: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for generating a fingerprint for verification of a reference object, such as a layer or ply during a composite laminate layup procedure. An exemplary method includes generating a plurality of images of the reference object from a plurality of angles, removing at least one lighting effect from at least one reference image to generate at least one processed image, generating a reference fingerprint for the reference object based on the at least one processed image, generating at least one candidate image of a candidate object, generating a candidate fingerprint for the candidate object based on the at least one candidate image, comparing the candidate fingerprint and the reference fingerprint to determine whether a correlation exists between the candidate fingerprint and the reference fingerprint, and generating an alert based on the comparison of the candidate fingerprint and the reference fingerprint.

摘要: A graphite film showing an extremely low average tearing force is more likely to suffer from various kinds of defects, such as splitting, winding deviation, wrinkling, and poor dimensional accuracy, in a step of producing the graphite film and in a step of processing the graphite film. However, these defects can be prevented by using a graphite film that satisfies the following requirements: 1) having an average tearing force of not more than 0.08 N as determined by Trouser tear method in accordance with JIS K7128; and 2) having sag of not less than 5 mm and not greater than 80 mm as determined by a method of film windability evaluation in accordance with JIS C2151.

This composite adhesive film has a configuration in which (A) an acrylic adhesive layer that has a thickness of 5 μm or more and 15 μm or less and does not contain a thermally conductive material, (B) a polyester film having a thickness of 20 μm or more and 60 μm or less, and (C) a silicone adhesive layer that has a thickness of 2 μm or more and 25 μm or less, does not contain a thermally conductive material, and has a peel strength of 0.005 N/cm or more and 1.0 N/cm or less are sequentially layered on the graphite sheet 10.

摘要: A heat-conductive sheet includes a laminated sheet and first and insulating sheets bonded to first and second main surfaces of the laminated sheet. The laminated sheet includes graphite sheets and one or more adhesive layers disposed alternately on the graphite sheets to bonds the graphite sheets to each other. The first insulating sheet is bonded to the second insulating sheet outside an outer circumferential edge of the laminated sheet to seal the laminated sheet between the first and second insulating sheets. The laminated sheet includes an outer circumferential portion connected to the outer circumferential edge and an inner portion apart from the outer circumferential edge. The outer circumferential portion of the laminated sheet has a thickness smaller than a thickness of the inner portion. The heat-conductive sheet has high reliability of sealing the insulating sheet.
