摘要： A magnetic disk drive includes a base having an opening, a cover configured to close the opening of the base, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet configured to seal a gap between the base and the cover. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and a substrate layer configured to support the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a storage modulus of 250 kPa or less at 23° C. The substrate layer has an elastic modulus of 1,680 N/cm to 3,000 N/cm. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet shows a deviation amount less than 1.0 mm, the amount being the deviation amount of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet per 250 gf/cm2 of the sheet in a holding ability test at 80° C. after one hour from a time when the holding ability test is started. Helium gas is accommodated in a cavity defined by the base and the cover.

Specifically, provided is an electrically conductive adhesive film, which includes metal particles, a thermosetting resin, and a compound having Lewis acidity or a thermal acid generator, wherein the compound having Lewis acidity or thermal acid generator is selected from: boron fluoride or a complex thereof, a protonic acid with a pKa value of −0.4 or lower, or a salt or acid obtained by combining an anion that is the same as the salt thereof with hydrogen ion or any other cation. Further, the present invention provides a dicing die bonding film that is obtained by bonding the electrically conductive adhesive film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape.

摘要： Provided is an image transfer material, comprising a support, optionally at least one barrier layer, a melt transfer layer, and an image receiving layer. Also provided is a process for preparing the image transfer material. Further provided is a heat transfer process using the disclosed material. In the heat transfer process, after imaging, the image receiving layer and melt transfer layer are peeled away from the optionally barrier-coated support material and placed, preferably image side up, on top of a receptor element. A non-stick sheet is then optionally placed over the imaged peeled material and heat is applied to the top of the optional non stick sheet. The melt transfer layer then melts and adheres the image to the receptor element. A composition comprising: at least one self-crosslinking polymer, and at least one dye retention aid.

摘要： A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape that uses, as a plasticizer, an alternative compound to bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DOP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP), having excellent tackiness, and can be unwound satisfactorily, where DOP and DBP are to be restricted under the REACH regulation. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape includes a poly(vinyl chloride) substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is disposed on or over one side of the substrate. The poly(vinyl chloride) substrate contains 10 to 40 percent by weight of bis(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape preferably has an unwinding force of 0.4 N/20 mm or less at a tensile speed of 0.3 m/min and an unwinding force of 1.2 N/20 mm or less at a tensile speed of 30 m/min.

摘要： The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition including a polymer of a monomer mixture containing isobornyl (meth)acrylate, a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, and a semiconductor wafer backgrinding method. In the present invention, by using isobornyl (meth)acrylate which is a hard-type monomer and has a low hydrophilic property, a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition having superior releasing and re-releasing properties and wettability with respect to the wafer, and having an excellent wafer-proofing property; a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet prepared by using the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition; and a backgrinding method using the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet can be provided.

This invention provides a PSA sheet comprising a substrate film and a PSA layer provided to at least one face of the substrate film. The PSA sheet further comprises a coating layer partially covering the PSA layer surface. The PSA sheet's adhesive is formed of the PSA layer and the coating layer. The coating layer has a linearly extending part running from one edge to another edge of the adhesive face. The linearly extending part has a first face forming the PSA sheet's adhesive face and a second face located on the PSA layer side relative to the first face. The second face of the linearly extending part forms an overall gently curved line in a cross section perpendicularly intersecting the length direction of the linearly extending part.
