    摘要: An information processing apparatus (100) includes a main unit (110) including a keyboard and having a generally rectangular major surface, and includes a display device (130) including a display screen and having a generally rectangular major surface. A bottom of the major surface of the display device can be selectively placed in a first position in which the bottom extends substantially along a first side of the major surface of the main unit, and a second position in which the bottom extends substantially along a second side of the major surface of the main unit that is substantially perpendicular to the first side. The information processing apparatus (100) further comprises power supply and information communications connectors in the main unit on a third side of the major surface of the main unit that is opposite and substantially parallel to the second side. The connector is connectable through another connector on a car docking station.

    摘要: A thrust control apparatus for a jet propulsion watercraft is provided. The thrust control apparatus includes a throttle sensor for detecting a fully-closed operation of a throttle of the engine, a steering sensor for detecting steering of a steering device more than a predetermined amount from a neutral position of the steering device and a direction of the steering; a control device configured to control the engine such that the water jet pump generates a different thrust for rightward and leftward steering, in accordance with the steering direction detected by the steering sensor, when the throttle sensor detects the fully-closed operation of the throttle and the steering sensor detects steering of more than the predetermined amount.

    摘要: A gas-concentration measuring apparatus for measuring the concentration variation of gas residing in a target region. The gas-concentration measuring apparatus comprises an ultrasound-transmitter adapted to transmit an ultrasound in response to an ultrasound-generating signal having a rate of voltage change equal to or greater than a slew rate of an operational amplifier, and further adapted to output the ultrasound-generating signal. An ultrasound-receiver adapted to receive the ultrasound wave passed through the gas residing in the target region, and further adapted to convert the received ultrasound into an electrical signal serving as a received ultrasound signal is provided. A gas-concentration determiner adapted to input the ultrasound-generating signal and the received ultrasound wave signal into the operational amplifier to generate an amplified transmitting-side chopping wave and an amplified receiving-side chopping wave is further provided. The gas-concentration determiner is further adapted to compare the transmitting-side and receiving-side chopping waves independently with corresponding given threshold voltages to detect a first pair of time points when the respective chopping waves become equal to or greater than the corresponding given threshold voltages or to detect a second pair of time points when the respective chopping waves become equal to or less than the corresponding given threshold voltages. The gas-concentration determiner is further adapted to determine the concentration variation in the gas based on the pair of time points.

    摘要: In a fuel-injection system with a pressure regulator disposed in the middle of a fuel supply line and located upstream of a fuel injector for regulating the pressure of fuel flowing through the fuel supply line and for returning surplus fuel via the pressure regulator into a fuel tank, a reflux pipe arrangement is located downstream of the fuel injector and connected at one end to the downstream end of the fuel supply line and connected at the other end to the fuel tank. A reflux control device is disposed in the middle of the reflux pipe arrangement for controlling a flow rate of the fuel flowing through the reflux pipe arrangement. The reflux control device is comprised of a reflux control valve or a fluid-flow restriction orifice member.

    摘要: A bus arbitration apparatus for an image processing processor is operable such that when a channel having a high necessity of a real-time processing operation issues a bus use request, a bus use permission is not given to another channel having a low necessity of a real-time processing operation. The bus arbitrator of the data includes a timer for counting down use permission time with respect to the channel having the high necessity of the real-time processing operation, and a register for the channel having the low necessity of the real-time processing operation. A value larger than a maximum value of the timer is set to the value of the register. In the bus arbitration, the value of the register is compared with that of the timer, and then the bus use permission is given to a channel having the small value.
