摘要: A battery includes: a power generation element including a plurality of battery cells each having an electrode layer, a counter electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer located between the electrode layer and the counter electrode layer, the plurality of battery cells being laminated; a first conductive member; and a second conductive member, in which at least a portion of the plurality of battery cells are electrically connected in parallel, the parallel connection is carried out by an insulating layer and a connecting portion provided on a side surface of the power generation element, at least a portion of the plurality of battery cells are electrically connected in series, the power generation element is provided with at least one through hole that penetrates at least a portion of the plurality of battery cells in a direction of lamination and is open on at least any of a first principal surface and a second principal surface located on an opposite side to the first principal surface of the power generation element, the first conductive member is electrically connected to a first battery cell among the plurality of battery cells, passes through the at least one through hole, and extends to an opening position of the at least one through hole located on a first surface being one of the first principal surface and the second principal surface, the second conductive member is electrically connected to a second battery cell among the plurality of battery cells being different from the first battery cell, passes through the at least one through hole, and extends to an opening position of the at least one through hole located on a second surface being one of the first principal surface and the second principal surface, and the first battery cell and the second battery cell are not connected in parallel.

摘要: A modular bipolar solid-state battery includes T solid-state battery modules, where T is an integer greater than one. Each of the T solid-state battery modules includes an enclosure, a first terminal arranged on a first side of the enclosure, a second terminal arranged on a second side of the enclosure opposite to the first side of the enclosure, and N solid-state battery cells arranged and interconnected in the enclosure, where N is an integer greater than one. The T solid-state battery modules are connected in at least one of series and parallel. A positive terminal of the modular bipolar solid-state battery is connected to at least one of the T solid-state battery modules. A negative terminal of the modular bipolar solid-state battery is connected to at least another one of the T solid-state battery modules.

摘要: A battery pack, comprising a first cell and a second cell connected in series, the first cell having a current cut-off device and having a first failure voltage, the current cut-off device being configured to be able to break a circuit in response to a voltage value of the first cell reaching or exceeding the first failure voltage, and the second cell having no current cut-off device. The battery pack may use a soft pack battery as the second cell, having advantages such as high energy density, low impedance, high discharge power, a low rate of temperature rise during high-rate discharge, and flexibility in dimensions.

摘要: A semiconductor-based battery system comprising a primary battery that spontaneously provides power that in embodiments trickle-charges a secondary battery. The battery obtains power as heat from the surrounding environment. The primary battery is powered through internal blackbody radiation, which cools a micro-platform and provides thermoelectric power at all temperatures above absolute zero with available power increasing with temperature. Lifetime of the primary battery is not limited by electrochemical degradation over time. In embodiments, the primary battery powers an application device directly without a secondary battery.

The disclosed architecture reduces the number of parts, complexity, and variability, while increasing one or more of reliability, service life, and energy capacity of a large-scale grid energy storage system, relative to a conventional multi-parallel string architecture.

The electric tool is provided with plugs that may be connected with the four energy units in different states, allowing the electric energy storage device to output multiple voltages.

摘要: A power supply includes a core housing having a first housing portion and a second housing portion together forming a cavity. The first housing portion is separable from the second housing portion to access the cavity. A battery core includes a plurality of battery cells received within the cavity. The plurality of battery cells are divided into a first group of interconnected battery cells and a second group of battery interconnected cells. The battery core also includes a conductor mechanically and electrically connecting a first terminal of the first group of interconnected battery cells and a second terminal of the second group of interconnected battery cells thereby connecting the first group of interconnected battery cells in series with the second group of interconnected battery cells. The conductor is disconnected from the first terminal or the second terminal when the first housing portion is separated from the second housing portion.

The battery pack may include an outer housing; a cell module supportable by the outer housing, the cell module including a module housing, a plurality of battery cells supported by the module housing, the battery cells having an energy of at least about 60 Watt-hours, a controller operable to control an operation of the battery pack, a conductive strap electrically connected to at least one of the battery cells, a weld strap connected between the controller and the conductive strap, and a terminal electrically connected to the battery cells and operable to connect the battery cells to an electrical device for power transfer; and a vapor-deposited, hydrophobic nano coating applied to at least a portion of the cell module.

摘要: Embodiments are directed to establishing a direct electrical bond between a bonding connector of a contact plate and a battery cell in a battery module. In a first embodiment, an oscillating laser is used to weld the bonding connector to a battery cell terminal over a target area over which the bonding connector makes non-flush contact. In a second embodiment, the bonding connector is flattened to reduce a gap between the bonding connector and the target area on the battery cell terminal, and then laser-welded (e.g., using an oscillating or non-oscillating laser). In a third embodiment, at least one hold-down mechanism is applied over the bonding connector to secure the bonding connector to the battery cell terminal, after which the bonding connector is laser-welded to the battery cell terminal.
