摘要: Technologies for storage block virtualization include multiple computing devices in communication over an optical fabric. A computing device receives a non-volatile memory (NVM) I/O command from an application via an optical fabric interface. The NVM I/O command is indicative of one or more virtual data storage blocks. The computing device maps the virtual data storage blocks to one or more physical data storage blocks, each of which is included in a solid-state data storage device of the computing device. The computing device performs the I/O command with the physical data storage blocks and then sends a response to the application. Mapping the virtual data storage blocks may include performing one or more data services. The computing device may be embodied as a storage sled of a data center, and the application may be executed by a compute sled of the data center. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

The storage devices and memory are directly coupled to storage resource processing circuits which are themselves, directly coupled to dual-mode optical network interface circuitry. The circuitry can store data on the storage devices and metadata associated with the data on non-volatile memory in the memory array.

摘要: Data storage device mounting systems to provide alignment and mounting of data storage devices are provided herein. A carrier is configured to couple to a data storage device and hang the data storage device in a vertical orientation in a data storage assembly from retractable mounting pins coupled to the carrier. The carrier also includes retractable alignment features to guide the data storage device and carrier into the mounting system. Finger grips are coupled to retractable alignment features and mounting pins and configured to extend retractable alignment features beyond the carrier concurrent with retracting the mounting pins when actuated by a user squeezing the finger grips. The finger grips are configured to extend the mounting pins when de-actuated by the user.

摘要: A shelf device facilitates access to electronic modules within an enclosure having multiple vertically stacked levels of module storage locations. A pair of support arms each have an attachment structure on a distal portion of the support arm that is designed to attach to a first one of the vertically stacked levels. A guide rail extends from the distal portion of the support arm toward a proximal portion of the support arm. A cross brace structure is configured to pivotally attach to distal portions of the pair of support arms and a proximal portion of a first one of the support arms. A pair of vertical braces are each configured to pivotally attach to a respective one of the pair of support arms and having a detachable connection structure that is designed to attach to a second one of the vertically stacked levels.

摘要: A compliant drawer latch is provided. The compliant drawer latch includes a first portion affixed to an inside surface of a chassis, and a second portion coupled to the first portion. The second portion includes a latch strike plate, a latch spring cap plate, and a latch return spring arranged between the latch strike plate and the latch spring cap plate. A drawer contacts the latch strike plate when the drawer is seated in the chassis. When the drawer over-travels the latch strike plate compresses the latch return spring up to a predetermined distance, and the compressed latch return spring applies force to the latch strike plate to return the latch strike plate to a latching position when the drawer rebounds from over-travel.

摘要: The subject invention is directed to a new and useful line replaceable unit (LRU) including an LRU case defining an interior compartment for housing critical function circuit card assemblies and including a back plane wall and opposed interface wall. At least one critical function circuit card assembly (CCA) is housed within the LRU case. The critical function CCA includes an input output connector mounted in proximity to the interface wall, as well as a backplane connector. The LRU includes a backplane CCA operatively connected to each backplane connector of the at least one critical function CCA. The backplane CCA is configured and adapted to provide operative communication among multiple critical function CCA's. The critical function CCA's can be mounted to the LRU case proximate the interface wall and the backplane wall to be mechanically and electrically isolated from one another except for connections provided by the backplane CCA.

The filler panel includes a non-conductive main body that includes a front wall, a back wall, a top wall, a bottom wall and a single side wall. The front wall, back wall, top wall and bottom wall are configured to fill a width of a slot of the electronics shelf. The side wall is configured to extend into a depth of the slot, The filler panel also includes an electromagnetic shielding portion comprising a conductive material that is coupled to the main body. The main body further includes one or more vents positioned in each of the top wall and the bottom wall, the vents configured to allow air flow though the main body.

摘要: A cable arrangement device for a cable management arm includes a support member and a locking member. The support member includes a fixing portion, an accommodation portion and a hook portion. The accommodation portion includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall and a bottom wall connected between the first and second sidewalls. The first sidewall is fixed to the fixing portion and has a connection member which has a first pivotal portion which has a positioning feature. The second sidewall is fixed to the hook portion. The locking member has a second pivotal portion and an engaging portion. The second pivotal portion is pivotably connected to the first pivotal portion and has an engaging feature engaged with the positioning feature. The engaging portion is engaged with the hook portion of the first sidewall when the engaging portion is in locked position.

The bracket assembly includes a bracket having multiple bracket holes, a base securely connected to the bracket, and a fastening member pivotally connected to the bracket. The base includes multiple connection members corresponding to the bracket holes. The fastening member includes a resilient leg and a fastening arm. The fastening arm has at least one fastening portion. One of the connection members is inserted into one of the holes of the rack. The fastening portion of the fastening arm is hooked to the rack so as to connect the bracket to the rack.

摘要: An installation support unit includes a base board, a support member, two installation members and a locking member. An end board extends from the base board and has a bent portion. The support member has a face board and an elongate hole. Each of the installation members is connected to the support member which is fixed to the end board. The locking member is movably connected to the support member and the end board, and includes a head portion, a protrusion and a threaded hole defined through the head portion and the protrusion. The diameter of the protrusion is smaller than the transverse width of the elongate hole. The protrusion extends through the elongate hole, and the height of the head portion is longer than the longitudinal distance of the elongate hole. The head portion is movably clamped between the support member and the end board.
