摘要: Deformable valves and atomizer designs for a vaporizer (e.g., electronic cigarette). The vaporizer may be used for vaporization of liquid and/or organic material. The vaporizer may enable enhanced flow control of fluid and may generate high quality and quantity of vapor efficiently. In some instances, flow path of the vaporizer may allow bulk fluid flow, e.g., in contrast to capillary flow, to deliver fluid to a vicinity of the vaporizer. In some instances, the vaporizer may utilize improved atomizer designs for vaporizing devices, where said designs can be configured optionally, with various embodiments of a breath-modulating deformable valve.

摘要: A system for assisting with a chest compression treatment being administered to a patient. In one aspect, the system for assisting with chest compression treatment includes at least one sensor configured to measure blood flow data, one or more processors, in communication with the at least one sensor, and an output device configured to provide the output indication to the rescuer. The one or more processors are configured to perform operations including receiving the blood flow data from the at least one sensor, based on the blood flow data, generating arterial blood flow data and venous blood flow data, providing an estimation of chest compression effectiveness based on the arterial blood flow data and the venous blood flow data, the estimation being based on at least one peak comparison of arterial blood flow and venous blood flow, and generating an output indication of the estimation of chest compression effectiveness.

摘要: Systems and methods for preparing a bone for a surgical procedure are provided. In general, the described techniques use a surgical guide device including a cannula having first and second parallel elongate channels adjacent to one another, and first and second elongate sleeves configured to be removably and replaceably received in the first and second channels, respectively. The first sleeve has a plurality of openings formed therein, each being in communication with a respective wire-receiving lumen extending through the first sleeve. Each of the openings defines a different offset distance between the wire-receiving lumen in communication with that opening and a wire-receiving lumen extending through the second sleeve. The surgical device can be manipulated so as to define positions of first and second openings in a bone, such as a glenoid or other bone, to receive bone screws or other elements for attaching a bone graft to the bone.

摘要: Cartridges for vaporizer devices are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the cartridge can include a reservoir housing having a storage chamber and a dispensing chamber, and a vaporization chamber in communication with the dispensing chamber. The storage chamber is configured to hold a first fraction of a vaporizable material and the dispensing chamber is configured to hold a second fraction of the vaporizable material. The dispensing chamber is further configured to selectively dispense at least a first portion of the second fraction of the vaporizable material through at least one dispense opening in response to generation of one or more pressure pulses created within the dispensing chamber. The vaporizable chamber is configured to receive the dispensed vaporizable material from the dispensing chamber for vaporization by a first heating element to form a vaporized material. Vaporizer devices are also provided.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems, methods and devices for predicting whether a user has a target health condition using eye images. Automated guidance is provided to the user to obtain, using a computing device operated by the user, images including the user's sclera, each of the images corresponding to a guided direction of the user's gaze. Images are received from the computing device by way of a network. Images are subject to verification that sufficiently show the user's sclera, including by estimating a direction of the user's gaze and confirming that the estimated direction for a given one of the images conforms with the guided direction. Feature-enhanced image data are generated by applying an autoencoder to enhance features corresponding to the user's sclera in the images. A prediction of whether the user has the target health condition is generated by providing the feature-enhanced image data to a convolutional neural network.

摘要: Features relating to a vaporizer body are provided. The vaporizer body may include an outer shell that includes an inner region defined by an outer shell sidewall. A support structure is configured to fit within the inner region of the outer shell. The support structure includes a storage region defined by a top support structure, a bottom support structure, a bottom cap, and a gasket. An integrated board assembly is configured to fit within the storage region of the support structure. The integrated board assembly may include a printed circuit board assembly formed of multiple layers that form a rigid structure and that include an inner, flexible layer. A first antenna is integrated at a proximal end of the flexible layer, and a second antenna is integrated at a distal end of the flexible layer.
