摘要: An aftertreatment system for an engine on a work machine may include a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system configured for arrangement downstream of the engine and having a dosing system for dosing the SCR system with treatment fluid. The aftertreatment system may also include a NOxin sensor arranged at or near the inlet of the SCR system, a NOxout sensor arranged at or near the outlet of the SCR system, and an SCR catalyst monitoring module configured to periodically establish a maximum NOx conversion capacity of an SCR catalyst in the SCR system. A method for determining a maximum conversion capacity at a selected number or working hours and/or determining a remaining useful life of the SCR catalyst is also provided.

In one example, a combustor is applied post shutdown to purge stored NOx from a passive NOx absorber to prepare for a subsequent engine start. The trapped NOx is subsequently reduced via a selective catalytic reduction catalyst.

摘要: An air-cleaning filter includes a non-woven fabric for dust collection and a non-woven fabric for deodorization having activated carbon particles combined therewith. By adjusting the particle diameter and content of the activated carbon particles and laminating with a non-woven fabric coated with an absorber for other gases, a dust collecting function and a deodorizing function can be imparted at the same time while also creating a structure with a low differential pressure.

摘要: There is provided a control device that controls an injection amount of a reducing agent to be supplied to a selective reduction catalyst provided in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine. The control device includes a pre-correction injection amount calculation unit configured to calculate a pre-correction injection amount of the reducing agent based on an operating state of the engine, and an injection amount correction unit configured to calculate a corrected injection amount obtained by correcting the pre-correction injection amount, based on a rate of change over time of a rotation speed of the engine and a rate of change over time of a fuel injection amount of the engine, such that the injection amount of the reducing agent increases when at least both the rate of change over time of the rotation speed and the rate of change over time of the fuel injection amount are positive.

摘要: An aftertreatment system for reducing constituents of an exhaust gas having a sulfur content includes: an oxidation catalyst; a filter disposed downstream of the oxidation catalyst; and a controller configured to, in response to determining that the filter is to be regenerated and a desulfation condition being satisfied: cause a temperature of the oxidation catalyst to increase to a first regeneration temperature that is greater than or equal to 400 degrees Celsius and less than 550 degrees Celsius, cause the temperature of the oxidation catalyst to be maintained at the first regeneration temperature for a first time period, and after the first time period, cause the temperature of the oxidation catalyst to increase to a second regeneration temperature equal to or greater than 550 degrees Celsius.

摘要: A urea removing apparatus has: a determining section that determines whether or not a urea aqueous solution is injected from an injection nozzle when control is performed to inject the urea aqueous solution from the injection nozzle into an exhaust pipe where exhaust gas of an engine flows; a supply control section that controls a pump that supplies the urea aqueous solution to the injection nozzle from a tank that stores the urea aqueous solution, and causes the urea aqueous solution to be supplied from the tank to the injection nozzle in a case that it is determined that the urea aqueous solution is not injected from the injection nozzle; and a temperature control section that performs control to raise the temperature of exhaust gas in a state where the urea aqueous solution supplied from the tank has been poured into the injection nozzle.

摘要: In a process for the purification of a gas flow containing NO2, carbon dioxide and nitrogen, the gas flow is purified by adsorption in order to produce a flow enriched in carbon dioxide and in NOx and depleted in nitrogen, the flow enriched in carbon dioxide and in NOx and depleted in nitrogen is treated in a treatment unit in order to form a fluid enriched in NO2 with respect to the treated flow, the fluid enriched in NO2 is sent to a catalytic conversion unit making possible the conversion of at least a portion of the NO2, in the presence of oxygen and also of ammonia or of urea, to give nitrogen and water in order to produce a gas depleted in NO2 with respect to the fluid enriched in NO2, the catalytic conversion unit also being fed with a fluid having nitrogen as main component.

摘要: SCR-active molecular-sieve based catalysts with improved low-temperature performance are made by heating a molecular-sieve in a non-oxidizing atmosphere with steam (hydrothermal treatment), or in a reducing atmosphere without steam (thermal treatment), at a temperature in the range of 600-900° C. for a time period from 5 minutes to two hours. The resulting SCR-active iron-containing molecular sieves exhibit a selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with NH3 or urea at 250° C. that is at least 50% greater than if the iron-containing molecular-sieve were calcined at 500° C. for two hours without performing the hydrothermal or thermal treatment.
