Abstract:
The connection structure of a circuit protection element for securely connecting at least two lead terminals of the circuit protection element to a circuit board includes terminal connection elongated holes each provided in the circuit board for connecting the lead terminals to the circuit board by soldering. The circuit board is positioned in such a way that the elongated direction of the elongated terminal connection hole is positioned in a downward direction. When an abnormal current is applied to the circuit, or when the circuit protection element fails to heat itself up to a high temperature, the solder melts. Thereby, the lead terminals easily disengage from the terminal connection holes so that the circuit protection element falls freely from the circuit board. Thus, the circuit is surely cut off easily.
Abstract:
A printed circuit board has a plastic carrier plate and a one-piece pressed screen forming interconnects of the electrical circuit that are firmly mechanically connected to one another via preferably hot-stamped or ultrasound-deformed plastic webs. The interconnects have connector tabs bent off at a right angle and contact tabs for contacting the plug-in base and the relays to be accepted and also have stamped-out contact profiles for the connection to electrical components. The plugged-on relays and components are preferably connected to the interconnects welding. A two-sided access to parting locations in the pressed screen is made for tools on the basis of recesses in the carrier plate.
Abstract:
An electrical junction box has a first insulating polymeric portion and a second polymeric portion defining multiple electrically conductive circuits. The circuits are at least partially separated by the first insulating polymeric portion and at least some of the circuits electrically connect together wire harness connector portions. A further aspect of the present invention junction box causes a section of the first insulating polymeric portion to concurrently act as a segment of an outer protective cover for the junction box.
Abstract:
In this Application, a description is given of a passive component comprising two electric connections with a plug-in portion for securing and electrically connecting the component to a printed circuit board, for example an electrolytic capacitor. In accordance with the invention, this component is so constructed that both plug-in portions are provided with two pins, with the plug-in portions being so positioned that the four pins do not extend in a flat plane. By virtue of the measure in accordance with the invention, resoldering of such components can be dispensed with. The use of pins whose length and width are different enables the manual installation of the components in accordance with the invention in the correct position to be simplified.
Abstract:
A light with a rubber-elastic cap, especially a colored silicone cap, particularly for attachment to printed circuit boards by soldering in the connecting wires of the light emerging from the bottom of the glass bulb, the silicone cap being provided with an edge thickening, which covers the lower section of the glass bulb and protrudes downward beyond the bottom of the glass bulb as installation edge, and the light connection wires being inclined and/or bent downward in such a manner that, after insertion in the boreholes of the printed circuit board, they brace the installation edge against the printed circuit board.
Abstract:
A branch junction box containing a flexible printed circuit sheet includes circuit terminals and other parts which are easily mounted. A first insulation plate is provided on one of its faces, with a plurality of printed circuit terminals vertically fixed therethrough. On its other face, the first insulation plate carries a flexible printed circuit sheet, the printed circuit of which is electrically connected to the circuit terminals. The surface of the insulating plate facing the circuit terminals may be provided with bus bar wiring patterns and corresponding bus bar terminals. These circuit terminals and bus bar terminals are branch-connected to wiring harnesses in a proper and reliable way through connectors formed in the casing of the box.
Abstract:
A surface-mounting structure of a surface-mounting electronic device onto the surface of a circuit medium is provided. An external terminal of the device has a first mounting surface on which a first set of protrusions are formed. The first mounting surface includes a first uncovered space in the remaining area of the first set of protrusions. A mounting pad of the circuit medium has a second mounting surface on which a second set of protrusions are formed. The second mounting surface includes a second uncovered space in the remaining area of the second set of protrusions. The second mounting surface is opposite to the first mounting surface. The second set of protrusions are inserted into the first uncovered space. The first set of protrusions are inserted into the second uncovered space. A bonding material is placed between the first and second mounting surfaces. The bonding material provides a mechanical engagement between the first and second mounting surfaces, thereby mechanically and electrically connecting the terminal of the device onto the mounting pad of the circuit medium. The mounting process and its process control are simplified, and connection accuracy and reliability are improved.
Abstract:
The present application describes a through-hole component insulator and assembly process which has the advantages of preventing solder from contacting the metal case of a through-hole component without an addition step or additional material from the standard fabrication process for a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board of the present invention includes a printed ink spacer disposed beneath the through-hole component wherein the printed ink spacer is included with a standard silk-screen artwork layer in the printed circuit board design stage. The printed ink spacer raises the through-hole component from the printed circuit board surface to prevent solder from contacting the metal case of the through-hole component during the printed circuit board soldering stage. Using a silk-screen artwork layer which includes at least one printed ink spacer in the artwork, the printed ink spacer is deposited during deposition of a standard printed design on the printed circuit board fabrication.
Abstract:
A rework configuration is provided for disconnecting defective lithography-formed conductors and/or overlying electrical components from the printed circuit wiring netlist and connecting rework elements at the substituted sites. In particular, defective regions can be severed at spaced first and second target areas the upper surface of the PCB and one or more interconnect structures can be coupled therebetween. The interconnect structures allow re-routing of PCB conductors, allow connectivity between the upper and lower surfaces, allow connectivity to power and ground planes, and allow pull-up, pull-down and decoupling connectivity.
