    Abstract: Provided is a surface protective sheet, which satisfactorily adheres to an adherend and which shows little increase in adhesion with time, can easily be re-released, reduces the amount of a pressure-sensitive adhesive remaining on the surface of the adherend after the release of the sheet, and does not impair the self-cleaning property of the surface of a coated plate as the adherend. The surface protective sheet includes: a base material layer; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in which, when the surface protective sheet is attached to a silicon wafer on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer side of the sheet and left to stand at 40° C. for 24 hours, and then the surface protective sheet is released under a temperature environment of 23° C., the surface of the resultant silicon wafer has a C/Si ratio of 0.8 or less in photoelectron spectroscopy analysis.

    Abstract: A one or more component moisture cure Organosiloxane composition that has strength in an uncured state (commonly referred to in the industry as “green strength”) and its uses. The composition comprises an organopolysiloxane polymer having a viscosity of at least 1000 mPa·s at 25° C. and not less than two silicon-bonded hydroxyl groups and/or silicon bonded hydrolysable groups; a suitable catalyst; a cross-linker adapted to react with organopolysiloxane polymer when catalysed with the catalyst; and optionally one or more rheology modifiers and 0 to 10% by weight of the composition of one or more extenders or plasticisers but in particular the composition contains a precipitated calcium carbonate filler in an amount of from 50 to 70 weight % of the total composition.

    Abstract: An outdoor urethane adhesive including a urethane resin obtained by reaction of an isocyanate compound with a polyol having an ester bond. The isocyanate compound contains at least one of an aliphatic isocyanate or an alicyclic isocyanate. The polyol contains both a polyester polyol and an acrylic polyol. The urethane adhesive is excellent in initial adhesion, cured adhesion and flexibility of the cured adhesive film. When the urethane adhesive further includes a hydroxyphenyltriazine-based compound the adhesive has little change in color difference and has improved weatherability. The outdoor adhesive can be used to form a solar battery backsheet. The solar battery backsheet can be used as part of a solar battery module.
