摘要: A weather strip to be attached along a belt line of a door of a motor vehicle for wiping an outer surface of a door glass when the door glass is raised and lowered. The weather strip has a base portion to be attached along the belt line of a door outer panel, a lip extending from the base portion obliquely upwardly toward the door glass so that an end of the lip contacts the outer surface of the door glass, and a blade extending from the base portion under the lip in a direction of the outer surface of the door glass. An end of the blade contacts the outer surface of the door glass. When the door glass is raised and lowered, the blade turns upwardly and downwardly, thereby wiping the outer surface of the door glass. The blade has a projecting portion at an upper surface thereof for pushing up a lower surface of the lip and detaching the end of the lip from the outer surface of the door glass when the blade turns upwardly whereby water on the outer surface of the door glass can be completely wiped by the blade when the door glass is raised.

摘要: An LED display device having an LED array for a meter on a printed circuit board. A diffusing radiation lens array is disposed facing the LED array. A cover lens is overlapped on the lens array. The cover lens transmits LED light which passed through the lens array. The cover lens has at least a scale mark, a character and a sign. A sheet is interposed between the lens array and the cover lens. The sheet limits radiation of predetermined diffused light from the lens array while partially transmitting the diffused light. The cover lens has a scale mark dent and a character dent formed on its rear interior surface, and displays the scale mark and character by means of an LED light from another LED array.

摘要: A rubber layered structure used for a weather strip or a glass run, which includes an EPDM rubber base and an ornamental surface layer or a functional surface layer for enhancing slidability of a door glass. An ornamental or functional surface layer is stuck to an EPDM rubber base with a laminated film. The laminated film includes a first layer of an olefin resin with polar functional groups and a second layer of a polar thermoplastic resin. The first layer, which includes a non-polar olefin resin and polar functional groups, adheres to both the EPDM rubber base and the second layer of a polar resin such as polyester. The second layer securely adheres to the surface layer.

摘要: A wiper blade rubber of an elongated configuration comprising a base portion of large thickness, a swinging portion substantially of a trigonal cross section, a neck portion connecting the base portion and the swinging portion and a thin plate-like lip portion disposed at the top end of the swinging portion. 摘要: A wiper blade rubber is disclosed. The wiper blade rubber comprises a matrix formed of rubber made preponderantly of EPDM and vulcanized with a peroxide and a lip part having the portions thereof for sliding contact with the outer surface of a wind shield formed of chlorinated diene type rubber. The lip part has the opposite lateral sides in the direction of thickness of the leading end thereof formed of diene type rubber containing a chlorinated layer on the surface thereof, with the matrix exposed to sight at the leading edge of the lip part between the opposite lateral sides of diene type rubber. The diene type rubber in each of the opposite lateral sides has the outer surface thereof chlorinated.

摘要: A wiper blade capable of preventing a harsh metallic noise which is made by the direct impact of a metallic backing plate associated therewith on a blade holder. Rubber flanges are formed integrally with the body of the wiper blade so as to extend upward from the upper surface of the body. The flanges cover at least the longitudinal side edges of the metallic backing plate placed on the upper surface of the body so that the longitudinal side edges of the backing plate will not impact directly on the blade holder.

摘要: In a light-emitting diode, a substantially square flip chip is placed on a substantially square sub-mount at a position and posture which are obtained through superposition of a center point and center axis of the flip chip on a center point and center axis of the sub-mount and subsequent rotation of the flip chip about the center points by approximately 45°. Therefore, triangular exposed regions are formed on the sub-mount, in which two lead electrodes for the flip chip can be formed. As a result, the flip chip can be placed on a lead frame such that the center axis of the flip chip coincides with the center axis of a parabola of the lead frame. Further, the sub-mount is formed of a semiconductor substrate, and a diode for over-voltage protection is formed within the semiconductor substrate. Therefore, breakage of the light-emitting diode due to excessive voltage can be prevented.
