摘要： A process for desulphurizing hydrocarbons includes passing a mixture of hydrocarbon and hydrogen over a hydrodesulphurization catalyst to convert organosulphur compounds present in the hydrocarbon to hydrogen sulphide, passing the resulting mixture over a hydrogen sulphide sorbent including zinc oxide to reduce the hydrogen sulphide content of the mixture, and passing the hydrogen sulphide-depleted mixture over a further desulphurization material. The further desulphurization material includes one or more nickel compounds, a zinc oxide support material, and optionally one or more promoter metal compounds of iron, cobalt, copper and precious metals. The desulphurization material has a nickel content in the range 0.3 to 20% by weight and a promoter metal compound content in the range 0 to 10% by weight.

摘要： A catalytic converter includes: a three-dimensional structural support having a plurality of cells partitioned by porous cell walls, in which a pore diameter of the cell walls is 10 μm to 50 μm and porosity of the cell walls is 40 vol % or more; and a catalyst-coated layer containing a catalyst component. The catalyst-coated layer is coated on surfaces of the cell walls of the three-dimensional structural support. 50 mass % or more of a total supported amount of the catalyst component on the three-dimensional structural support is present in a region from the surfaces of the cell walls of the three-dimensional structural support to surfaces of the catalyst-coated layer.

摘要： A photocatalytic reactor is disclosed herein, which includes a rotatable light guide plate and a light source. The light guide plate is coated with a photocatalyst film on a surface thereof. A light beam emitted from the light source can be coupled into and propagate inside the light guide plate to activate the photocatalysis of the photocatalyst film. Additionally, the rotation of the light guide plate further expedites the photocatalysis so as to enhance the reaction efficiency of the photocatalytic reactor.

摘要： A catalyst system comprising a catalyst and a reductant is disclosed. The catalyst comprises a metal oxide catalyst support, a catalytic metal oxide, and a promoting metal. The catalytic metal oxide comprises gallium oxide, indium oxide or a combination of the two. The promoting metal comprises at least one of silver, cobalt, vanadium, molybdenum, tungsten, zinc, tin and bismuth. The catalyst comprises about 5 to about 31 mol % catalytic metal oxide and about 0.5 to about 9 mol % promoting metal. The reductant comprises a fluid hydrocarbon having at least 4 carbon atoms. Also disclosed is a process for reducing NOx to N2 using the disclosed catalyst system by mixing NOx with a reductant and passing the mixture through a catalyst of the disclosed catalyst system.

At least one metal selected from zinc, iron and manganese can be supported on the support.
