In connection with a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device including a step of establishing electrical connection between terminal electrodes of a circuit board and electrode pads of a semiconductor substrate by means of ultrasonic vibration, prevention of flaws stemming from ultrasonic vibration is aimed. A semiconductor substrate is mounted on the surface of an insulation circuit board such that terminal electrodes of the insulation circuit board oppose electrode pads of a semiconductor board. Desired electrical connection is established by means of applying ultrasonic vibration between a first holding tool for holding the insulation circuit board and a second holding tool for holding the semiconductor substrate. Ultrasonic vibration is applied while intermediate material of lower hardness is interposed between the first holding tool and the insulation circuit board and while another intermediate material of lower hardness is interposed between the second holding tool and the insulation circuit board.

A semiconductor device allowing a mounting of a semiconductor substrate with narrow electrode pad interval on an insulated circuit board while securing a favorable insulation characteristic and a manufacturing method thereof are obtained. The semiconductor device includes an electrode pad formed on a semiconductor substrate; a connecting underlying metal film connected to the electrode pad; a connecting conductor establishing electrical conduction between the connecting underlying metal film and a terminal electrode on an insulated circuit board; and non-conductive resin surrounding the connecting conductor and filling a gap between the substrate and the insulated circuit board. Here, the connecting underlying metal film is not covered by the connecting conductor at least in a peripheral region including an outer peripheral portion thereof

In an electrical junction box with a fuse, a safety plug including a plug body which is moved vertically to electrically connect two terminals to each other and disconnect them from each other, at least one pair of electric wires, and a fuse are fixedly mounted in a frame, the electric wire is connected directly or indirectly to one of the terminal, the terminal is connected directly or indirectly to one end of the fuse, the other end of the fuse is connected directly or indirectly to the electric wire, the plug body is protruded outside from the frame, and a sealing member sealingly closes the gap between the plug body and the frame.

An electrode post connection structure for connecting a connection conductor to an electrode post of a battery through a connection fitting, which includes a lock stage portion formed on a circumference of the electrode post, a tapered portion formed at a top portion of the electrode post, a lock spring inserted in the connection fitting so as to engage with the lock stage portion to thereby lock the electrode post and the connection fitting with each other, and a hollow elastic body accommodated in the connection fitting so as to press the connection conductor to thereby connect the electrode post and the connection conductor to each other. Thus, work for connecting a connection conductor to an electrode post of a battery is simplified, and the electric characteristic and reliability of the connection are improved greatly.

This invention provides a condensed pyrazole derivative of the Formula (1): ##STR1## (where A denotes CH or N, R.sup.0 and R.sup.3 denote same or different, a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 denote same or different, a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a lower alkylthio group, a nitro group or a halogen atom, m denotes 1 or 2, and n denotes 1, 2 or 3, provided that, when n is 2, two R.sup.2 may be connected to each other to form a lower alkylenedioxy group), or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. This derivative or its salt is excellent in the effect of inhibiting the expression of action of androgen, thereby being excellent in therapeutical effect of benign prostatic hypertrophy, prostatic carcinoma, etc., and has a long lasting of efficacy and high oral absorption.

A pressure-welding type electric terminal according to the present invention is constructed such that it comprises an electrically contacting section and an electric wire connecting section which is composed of an electric wire pressure-welding section and an electric wire retaining section, wherein the electric wire pressure-welding section further comprises: a sub-plate section provided at one part of a longitudinal side of the base plate by way of a connecting portion and superposed on the base plate, which sub-plate section being integrally provided with a sub section having two consecutive elongate holes; an upright section formed with a slot therein for receiving an electric wire, which upright section being formed by vertically folding the sub section; and a pair of fixing pieces for firmly fixing the superposed sub-plate section at the front and rear sides of the upright section respectively.Since the present invention is constructed as such, even when an electric wire rather on the fat side is pressed against the wire pressure-welding section to electrically connect thereto, it will not be expandedly deformed neither forward nor backward, providing thereby a sufficient durability.

The connector terminal engage structure comprises: a female connector terminal and a connector housing having first and second engage arm members for supporting the female connector terminal therebetween and an arm holding member for holding at least one of the two engage arm members away from the female connector terminal when the terminal is required to be removed from the connector housing. Since one of the two terminal engage arm members can be deformed away from the terminal by a jig so as to be held by the arm holding member, it is possible to easily remove the terminal from the housing whenever required, even after the connector has been left at high temperature and therefore the resin engage arm means have been deformed plastically without elasticity.
