Abstract: Using a transmission fiber for transmitting laser beams of multiple wavelengths oscillated by a DDL module, and a laser processing machine for cutting a sheet metal with a processing head that condenses the laser beams of multiple wavelengths and irradiates them onto the sheet metal, a mild steel plate or an aluminum plate is cut, and by cutting a mild steel plate with a thickness greater than or equal to 1 mm and less than or equal to 5 mm, a surface roughness (Ra) of a cut surface of the cut mild steel plate is less than or equal to 0.4 μm, and when an aluminum plate with a thickness greater than or equal to 1 mm and less than or equal to 5 mm is cut, a surface roughness (Ra) of a cut surface of the cut aluminum plate is less than or equal to 2.5 μm.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a processing method for a vacuum container and a vacuum container, characterized in that, the processing method for a vacuum container comprising a step of welding a sealing fin, wherein welding a sealing fin onto an inner wall of an outer container, and leaving an empennage for welding at the bottom of the outer container; and a step of welding an outer bottom cap, wherein welding an outer bottom cap seamlessly on the empennage by means of argon arc welding. In accordance with the present invention, the sealing fin is welded on the outer container and an empennage for welding is left at the bottom of the outer container, and the outer bottom cap is welded by means of argon arc welding to the empennage, thus the heat preservation effect of the vacuum container can be ensured and no interlayer nor seam exists between the outer bottom cap and the outer container, the outer bottom cap and the outer container can be closely connected and integrally formed, and the vacuum container is easy to wash and use.

Abstract: Provided are a machining device and a machining method in which machining of higher precision can be performed with a simple configuration. The machining device has an irradiation head (16) and a controller; and the irradiation head (16) can be divided into a collimate optical system, a laser revolving unit (35), and a light collection optical system (37). The laser revolving unit (35) has a first prism (51), a second prism (52), a first rotation mechanism (53), and a second rotation mechanism (54). The controller controls the rotational speeds and the difference in phase angles of the first prism (51) and the second prism (52), on the basis of at least the relationship between a heat affected layer of a member to be machined and the revolving speed of the laser.

Abstract: A method for brazing is provided, in which an amorphous or partially amorphous brazing foil, having a composition with a metalloid content of 10 to 30 at. %, is arranged at a joining point of two or more parts. The brazing foil is in the form of a wound ring-shaped strip which has a short-circuited current path between at least two layers lying one on top of the other. The brazing foil inductively heated, melted and a brazed connection of the parts is produced.

Abstract: A method of impact welding a flyer to a hollow component is provided. The method includes providing the component made of a first material and including a cavity where a weld site is disposed on a first side of the component. An incompressible material is packed against a second side of the component opposite the first side facing the cavity. A flyer made of a second material is positioned onto the weld site. The flyer is then impact welded to the component. The incompressible material prevents the deformation of the component during the impact welding. A method of impact welding a cover plate to a component is provided as well as a support system for welding repair of hollow components.

Abstract: The inventions disclosed by this application are for a cladding apparatus, a cladding head, and a method of cladding a relatively planar solid object such as a boiler waterwall. Cladding of non-horizontal surfaces is complicated by the effects of gravity as melted clad material trends to runoff the surface before the cladding material bonds to the appropriate location. The disclosed inventions overcome these limitations by controlling the relative angle of application by either rotating the workpiece or the cladding head through a pre-programmed sequence. Also presented in a compact design for a laser cladding head that facilitates such cladding by minimizing movement of the laser fiber and improves cladding speed over irregular shaped objects.
