摘要: Features relating to a vaporizer device including a vaporizer body and a cartridge for connecting to the vaporizer body are provided. The cartridge includes a wireless transceiver positioned proximate a distal end of the cartridge. The wireless transceiver is configured to transmit, receive, and/or store data and to communicate with a subset of remote devices, which may include the vaporizer body and one or more additional devices such as manufacturing, assembly, and filling equipment. The vaporizer body includes wireless communication circuitry that enables communication with remote devices, which may include the cartridge and user devices such as a wireless device. The vaporizer body is configured to identify the cartridge and implement operational instructions and/or apply configuration parameters received from an application and/or based on preset configuration parameters associated with the cartridge.

摘要: A medical device controller operating in conjunction with a medical device determines one or more current versions of executable code associated with one or more processors in a medical device. Medical devices may include infusion pumps, other patient treatment devices as well as vital signs monitors. The medical device controller determines one or more current versions of executable code and configuration information associated with the one or more processors in the medical device. The medical device controller further determines which of the processors in the medical device require updated executable code, and which of the processors in the medical device require updated configuration information. The medical device controller distributes to the medical device as required at least one of the updated executable code and the updated configuration information. The medical device deploys the distributed updates, and activates the updates at a clinically appropriate time.

摘要: A robotic surgical arm includes a puck containing motors to drive an end effector. A tool assembly attached to the puck generates ultrasonic and/or radio frequency energy to apply to tissue disposed between the jaws of the end effector. The tool assembly can include modular components such as a modular shaft that can include an ultrasonic transducer, nonvolatile memory, wireless interface, and/or a power source. The power source allows the modular shaft to communicate wirelessly with the robotic arm. The tool assembly can be moved from one robotic arm to another while remaining powered by the power source. The tool assembly can include sensors to determine a location or movement of the tool assembly after being detached from the robotic surgical arm. The modular shaft can be moved from a robotic arm to a handle manually controlled by a surgeon and back again to the robotic arm.

摘要: A method, a system, and a computer program product for generating a pageable hash index for a document store. A hash map index for data stored on disk using a document array is generated. The hash map index includes a plurality of hash values with each hash value identifying a document stored at a predetermined location in the document array. A transaction for executing using a first document stored in the document array is received. Using the generated hash map index, a location of the first document stored in the document array is identified. At least a portion of a first hash value of the hash map index corresponding to the first document is loaded into a memory location without loading the remaining hashes of the hash map index. Based on the loaded portion of the first hash value, the received transaction is executed.

摘要: Containers are provided and include a container body having an opening extending into a hollow interior, and a cap extending across the opening. The cap has an inlet port with an inlet valve configured to couple to a fluid source such that fluid can be delivered through the inlet valve to pressurized the hollow interior of the container body. The cap also has an outlet port with an outlet valve having a cracking pressure at which the outlet valve is configured to move from a closed configuration to an open configuration to dispense fluid from the hollow interior, and a closing pressure at which the outlet valve is configured to move from the open configuration to the closed configuration to prevent fluid from passing therethrough. The cracking pressure is greater than the closing pressure.

摘要: A method for mixing a fluid includes: dispensing a first volume of a fluid into a flexible container, the flexible container being at least partially disposed within the chamber of a support housing; repeatedly moving the support housing and the flexible container contained therein so as to mix the first volume of fluid within the flexible container; adding further fluid into the flexible container after moving the support housing to form a second volume of fluid; and manipulating a mixing element within the flexible container so as to mix the second volume of fluid.
