Abstract: A traveling control apparatus performs a traveling control allowing for merging on a first vehicle traveling on a first lane or a second vehicle traveling on a second lane by wireless communication in a merging section. Abstract: The disclosure herein pertains to determining high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane eligibility of a vehicle and position of the vehicle with respect to an HOV lane. A method for an on board unit (OBU) of a vehicle may include receiving a traveler information message (TIM) from a roadside unit (RSU), the TIM having a payload including codes indicating lane parameters and HOV criteria of an HOV lane. The OBU determines whether or not the vehicle is HOV lane-eligible and whether or not the vehicle is in the HOV lane, and outputs a corresponding notification.

Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for wireless communications is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a first base station, one or more first messages that include measurement configuration parameters and sidelink parameters associated with a first cell. The UE establishes a sidelink with a second UE based on the sidelink parameters and transmits, to the first base station, a measurement report based on the measurement configuration parameters. Responsive to the measurement report, the UE receives a second message comprising second configuration parameters of a second cell of a second base station. The second configuration parameters do not comprise sidelink parameters. The UE then switches from the first cell of the first base station to the second cell of the second base station. The sidelink of the first cell is handed over to an uplink of the second cell.

The method further includes transmitting, by the at least one AV, to a storage device onboard the mobile offload station, at least a portion of the log data via the data communication link.
