    Abstract: A secondary routing device is configured as a backup routing device for a primary routing device. The primary routing device performs asynchronous socket replication with the secondary routing device. The secondary routing device includes a transmission buffer, in memory, for storing replicated socket data transmitted between the primary routing device and the standby routing device and one or more processors implemented in circuitry and configured to execute a replication driver to: determine a threshold value; determine that an amount of data equaling or exceeding the threshold value has been read from the transmission buffer; in response to determining that the amount of data equaling or exceeding the threshold value has been read from the transmission buffer, schedule a window update for the transmission buffer at a scheduled time; and send the window update at the scheduled time.

    Abstract: Methods of managing a fleet of devices are provided, as are methods for configuring a standby device for a job in a workflow environment, and methods for performing a job in a workflow environment. Device information is analyzed, such as information pertaining to verification systems. Device instructions are sent to various locations on a device network in response to a deviation from a parameter value having been detected. The deviation from the parameter value may correspond to printed media and/or indicia produced by one or more devices. A workflow device and a standby device are provided, and the workflow device sends configuration data to the standby device. The standby device installs configuration data and is introduced into the workflow environment.

    Abstract: Managing containerized workloads, such as by Kubernetes, provides a robust and expandable platform. Kubernetes high-availability (HA) mode provides additional safeguards against failure that allows services to be maintained without interruption in the event of a partial system or network failure. However, Kubernetes requires an odd number of master nodes (e.g., three) in order to be able have a quorum and maintain certain operations (e.g., election of a leader). In the event a master node loses functionality, the remaining master nodes are unable to have a quorum. System and methods are provided to convert a worker-only node into a master node in order to reestablish a quorum. Once functionality is restored, the converted master is reverted back to a worker-only node and the restored master, and remaining masters, maintain the quorum.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for detecting outages in a multiple availability zone cloud environment. Structured data defining network connectivity statuses of network segments is received. Multiple availability zones of the first cloud platform are defined in a multiple availability zone cloud architecture. External structure data defining inbound connectivity statuses of the network segments correspondingly defined for the availability zones of the first cloud platform is iteratively collecting. The inbound connectivity statuses define availability for an entity running at an external cloud platform to the first cloud platform to connect to at least one entity running at the first cloud platform. In response to evaluating the internal and external structured data, determining a health status of the first cloud platform to be provided to platform services provided by the first cloud platform and/or applications running on the first cloud platform to support managing of lifecycle of entities running on the first cloud platform.
